The Giants and Eagles battle for the second time in three weeks for a Week 18 contest at MetLife Stadium to wrap up the 2023-24 regular season this Sunday afternoon.

The G-Men nearly played spoiler for the second straight week but fortunately for their draft capital fell short in a 26-25 down-to-the-wire loss to the Rams in the Meadowlands on New Year’s Eve in Week 17.

Meanwhile, the Eagles were victims to one of the biggest upsets of the NFL season when the Cardinals came into Lincoln Financial Field and shocked the Eagles with a 35-31 victory over the reigning NFC champions on their home field.

In the Week 16 matchup, the Giants came close to upsetting the Eagles but Philly was able to hang on for a 33-25 win on Christmas Day.

Here’s our betting advice with a potential top-five selection in the cards for the Giants and a division title on the line for the Eagles in Week 18:

After being as high as two-touchdown underdogs two weeks ago, the Giants are now down all the way to this current number of 5.5 points.

Yes, a big factor of why this number is so low is there’s a chance that Philadelphia could rest its starters come Sunday and concede the division in order to stay healthy come playoffs.

However, another reason is the Eagles have coincidently been terrible against the spread (ATS) as they’ve not covered in any of their prior six games (0-5-1 ATS). This comes after Philly covered the spread in six of their first 10 matchups to start the 2023 season.

On the other side, the G-Men are 5-1 ATS since Week 11 with the only outlier coming in the 24-6 loss against the Saints on Dec. 17.

This number could certainly fluctuate in a big way depending on what the Eagles decide to do ahead of Sunday.

Regardless, I’d still take the G-Men here especially with the team officially announcing that QB Tyrod Taylor will get potentially his last start in a Giants uniform.

NY Giants vs. PHI Eagles total: Over 41 points (-108), Under 42 points (-110)

These two NFC East rivals cleared the total (41) with ease in Week 16 as they combined for 58 points on Christmas Day.

With a line that’s only a half a point higher, I’d hammer the over here.

The Giants haven’t been great to the over this season, however, they’ve gone over this number in five of their last seven games.

For the Eagles, they’re one of the top teams in the NFL at 9-7 to the over heading into the final week of the regular season. Furthermore, Philly has had a total go over 41.5 points in eight of the previous 11 contests.

In the head-to-head rivalry, the over has also been great with at least 42 points being scored in seven of the past 10 meetings.

I believe this total will be lower than the 58 points we saw in Week 16 but still go over this manageable over/under line on Sunday afternoon.

Just like the spread, the Giants on the moneyline are severely discounted from the first matchup.

The G-Men were at +650 in Week 16 but now find themselves less than 2-to-1 odds for the regular season finale.

There’s no doubt given each team’s performances the last couple weeks that the Giants could pull off the upset here even if the Eagles decide to start their key players.

New York’s won two of the last three head-to-head matchups at MetLife Stadium versus Philadelphia. While I think they can definitely keep it close, the G-Men fall just short and officially lock up a top-five spot in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Prediction: Eagles 24, Giants 21
