The Taylor Swift concerts are just days away, and Swifties are making friendship bracelets to trade and adding final touches to their outfits for The Eras Tour shows Friday and Saturday at Acrisure Stadium.
Here are five things to know before going:
You are viewing: Where To Park For Taylor Swift Pittsburgh
1. Plan for parking
The North Shore will be packed, so plan where to park beforehand.
• Buy prepaid parking to guarantee your spot. There are several lots and garages within walking distance or a quick bus ride to the stadium. Make sure to account for travel time to the stadium from the lot or garage. According to its website, Pittsburgh Regional Transit tickets can be bought online through the Ready2Ride and Transit apps or can be paid in cash on the bus. A single fare is $2.75, or you can buy a day pass for $7 online. Buses stop running at 1 a.m.
The parking garage next to Acrisure Stadium is already booked for Friday and Saturday.
All parking lots surrounding the stadium on the North Shore charge $50 per spot.

• Not buying prepaid parking? Park Downtown. A map of parking garages Downtown is available online. Choose your parking garage based on your direction of travel after the concert. Prices for Pittsburgh Parking Authority garages can be found here. Most Downtown garages will charge $8 or less for event-day parking.
Try to park away from the Cultural District (around The Benedum Center) as there will be a showing of “Anything Goes” at 8 p.m. Friday and at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday. Plan for walking time to the stadium from your garage.
The “T” is also a great way to get from Downtown to the North Shore, and it is free. Take the blue, red or silver line from the Wood Street Station and get off at the North Side stop. According to the Pittsburgh Regional Transit website, the “T” departs about every 12 minutes in the late afternoon.
PRT spokesman Adam Brandolph said there would be increased capacity — two-car trains — on the lines that run to the North Shore and the agency planned to add trips between regularly scheduled service.
“The exact number will depend on staffing availability on Friday and Saturday,” he said.
Randolph also said service will continue past normal hours if fans are still exiting the stadium.
“With her shows ending in other cities around 11:30, for the most part we don’t believe we’ll have to substantially extend the hours of service,” Brandolph said. “Similar to late-night Steelers games, trains will run until the platforms at Allegheny Station are clear.”
Fans also can park at Station Square for $15 and ride the Gateway Clipper for $8 per person each way.
• Do not park on the street. Most Downtown street meter hours end at 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. A parking ticket would ruin that post-concert euphoria.

Burt Lauten, spokesman for the Pittsburgh Steelers, said that the NFL’s clear-bag policy will be in effect.
“Fans are encouraged not to bring a bag into the event,” Lauten said. “If necessary, there are two options: a clear plastic bag the size of a one-gallon Ziploc bag or a small, handheld purse clutch.”
