If you want to explore Delve in POE 3.22 but don’t know where to start, then you shouldn’t miss this guide. Here I will share with you some tips and tricks you need to know when farming Delve to help you maximize your rewards and profitability. Without further ado, let’s get started!
How Does Delve Work?
Delve is a unique game mechanic that provides continuous POE currency creation opportunities. Delve is all about exploring Azurite Mine and collecting valuable resources while facing challenging enemies and bosses. Enter the mines from Act 4 and beyond, and after talking to Niko, you can start your exploration journey from the mine camp.

Farming Delve differs from most other mechanics in that the time you spend farming is off-map. This means your Atlas Passive Tree can help generate Sulphite and provide additional Azurite Mine as you collect Sulphite for exploration. But it doesn’t provide rewards for exploration itself.
The deeper you go into the mines, the greater the rewards and the more dangerous the enemies. If you want to farm Delve, you need to get to a depth of at least 500, the deeper the better. Keep in mind that going so deep that you constantly fail nodes is not very efficient, so you want to know your limits.
Farming Strategy
As you farm the map, you’ll need to collect Voltaxic Sulphite to power your exploration. If you want to focus on exploration, you need to ignore the regular monsters on the map.

But it can be more profitable to farm Delve alongside other mechanics as part of a farming strategy. In this case, you can use Packed with Energy to more easily clear the rest of the map or deal with dangerous rare monsters associated with other mechanics.
Keep an eye out for Molten Cavity, Specialty Nodes, and Cities as you continue your descent. Primeval Ruins are the best, but Vaal Outposts and Abyssal City also give you a decent amount of Divine Orbs.
As you explore, beware of ranged enemies hiding in the darkness. Be sure to make full use of Flares to light up the area, and Dynamite to break Fractured Walls or stun tough enemies. Fractured Walls usually appear at the intersection of path branches, where you can find treasure chests containing currency, Resonators, and POE items.
How To Maximize Delve Farming Returns?
The map’s quantity bonus affects the amount of Sulphite you receive, so the amount of scrolling the map is very important. On the other hand, the player count does not scale your Sulphite. Therefore, you can also gain Sulphite rewards by controlling party size, as they usually distribute Sulphite among all party members in the instance.
You can also use Rusted Sulphite Scarab to ensure that Voltaxic Sulphite appears on the map. Rusted Sulphite Scarab is extremely cost effective. Because Packed with Energy, you can even use it to complete maps faster while generating supplemental income from mining by-products.

Polished Sulphite Scarab will provide more Sulphite, making your farming more timesaving. While it’s priced on par with Rusted Sulphite Scarab, they offer the best balance between cost and speed.
Compass is another way to ensure Sulphite appears on the map. It works exactly like Niko’s Master Missions. This way, you will get less Sulphite on each map, but you will get an extra Scarab slot on your map device.
If you just want to farm Delve, there’s no benefit to doing so. But if you’re using a Delve farming strategy that requires more Scarabs, this is a great way to incorporate it.
Delve exploration in Path of Exile provides a unique and rewarding experience in currency crafting, especially when done strategically. By understanding the mechanics of mining, optimizing your character’s tanking abilities, and focusing on valuable drops, you can primary mines and amass a large amount of currency.
Remember, consistency and adaptability are key, and with the right approach, you’ll be reaping huge rewards from farming Delve in no time!
