I wrote a personal update. Don’t normally tell this stuff.

For me it was really a sacred and different New Year. I was with my dear old Dad (94) at his assisted living location. He is really sharp so it’s neat seeing him. Most of the other folks are not “with it,” but Pop is the energizer of the facility. Somehow he got a bottle of wine in tonight and was sneaking around pouring a glass for all the other older folks. They were loving it… and I was worried he was pushing the envelope. I’m still the legalist in the family.
Flew up to visit from Dallas with wife Annabelle (married 27 years) and my son Lance Jr (age 24).

My Dad sold the house I grew up in. So it’s largely empty. It’s a big goodbye for me where this house is concerned. Closing a huge chapter. One thing to leave home, another to watch the home leave you.
We have a worn-out piano in the house however – (the kind that has keys that stick) and Jr suggested we bring in the New Year worshipping…. What a gift to have a son that wants to seek God with you at New Years, huh? So I sat down to play the only instrument available….sticking keys and all.
So we three Kings, (Jr, Annabelle and I ) went off into the Spirit till midnight. It was really awesome and Annabelle got visions, Lance also. I didn’t, but I really did feel the presence of the Spirit.
I do have one word for someone however…felt strongly:
MT 11:25 “I thank you Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to infants. Yes, Father, for this was well pleasing in Your sight.”

HE WILL TEACH YOU WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW TO ORDER YOUR STEPS FOR THIS IS THE HOUR THE FATHER HAS CHOSEN TO PROMOTE THE WISE OF HEART OVER THE WISE OF HEAD. THIS IS A GREAT TURNING IN THE ROAD FOR THE HOUSE OF DAVID AND THE HOUSE OF SAUL. “LEARN FROM ME”, SAYETH THE LORD AND YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOUL…REST FROM THE BATTLE IN YOUR MIND….REST FROM THE EMOTIONAL WEARINESS FROM RECENT ATTACKS.
YOU WILL DISCOVER HOW THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS AN EXPELLING FORCE. MY PRESENCE EXPELS THE ENEMY: FEAR, HURT, TRAUMA AND LOSS WILL NO LONGER HAVE POWER TO PREVAIL OVER THE BABES…THE PURE IN HEART WHO TRUST IN ME. I MAKE YOU WISER THAN YOUR ENEMIES. I MAKE YOU STRONGER THAN YOUR ENEMIES. YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE GOING TO GO DOWN BUT I AM MAKING YOU RESILIENT AND YOU WILL HAVE A BOUNCE-BACK CAPACITY LIKE YOU HAVE NEVER KNOWN.
YOU WILL ADVANCE THE KINGDOM IN AREAS THAT YOU WILL ENCOUNTER AND EVICT DEMONS AND YOU WILL CARRY OFF PROPERTY THAT HAS BEEN HELD IN THE ENEMY’S HOUSE FOR TOO LONG. THIS IS THE YEAR YOU WILL ACQUIRE PROPERTY THAT BELONGS TO THE KINGDOM. PROPERTY INCLUDES PEOPLE, HOUSES, LANDS, BUILDINGS, COPYRIGHTS, REAL ESTATE, WITTY INVENTIONS, PATENTS AND TECHNOLOGY, HIT SONGS AND BEST SELLING BOOKS AND ANIMATION AND MOVIES.
THE GLORY IS GOING TO INCREASE AND THE HARVEST IS GOING TO START TO COME IN WHERE YOUR FAMILY IS CONCERNED BECAUSE WHERE THE PRESENCE IS PRESENT THE SEEDS, ONCE DORMANT, WILL START TO SPRING FORTH QUICKLY. MANY SEEDS ARE IN SOIL JUST WAITING FOR RAIN. IN MANY PLACES YOU WILL NOT NEED TO DO MUCH DIFFERENT, YET A NEW RESULT WILL BE ATTENDING YOUR LABORS. I AM MAKING YOU A SHARPER INSTRUMENT TO THRESH MOUNTAINS – SAITH THE LORD!
