Reki is not only talented on the board but also a loyal and helpful friend. When he befriends Landa, he teaches him cool skateboarding maneuvers. However, when Reki realizes that Landa is surpassing him, he feels a hint of jealousy but never lets it affect their friendship. Instead, he works harder to become the best.
We all can see the spark of determination in Reki, as he aspires to become the world’s greatest skater. Winning “S” is his first step towards achieving that dream. Reki’s skating skills are as impressive as those seen in Haikyuu!! characters.
Miya Chinen
Miya Chinen is a cool skateboarder who flaunts his swag in a long green hoodie with blue cat ears. Like many young and wealthy individuals, Miya can be moody and arrogant. He prefers solitary moments with his skateboard. Since childhood, Miya has admired skateboarding and effortlessly mastered its maneuvers. His talent is exemplified by his ability to learn one of the most complex skateboarding skills in just two weeks.
Over time, Miya learns and grows by forming friendships with Langa and Reki. One admirable quality about Miya is his eagerness to improve and his appreciation for healthy competition. He understands the benefits of being part of a group of like-minded skaters.
Despite his young age, Miya’s capabilities surpass many others, making him an influential figure in the game.
Kaoru Sakurayashiki

Kaoru is a tall and popular participant in the S race. People know him as “Cherry Blossom” due to his long silky pink hair. He stands out with his traditional Japanese yukata, obi, a fan, and a pair of sandals. The saying “Don’t judge a book by its cover” perfectly applies to him. Although he may appear self-centered and prioritizing his own interests, that’s not who he truly is.
Kaoru proves to be a good friend who is always willing to help those in need. However, when it comes to S, he maintains a different persona, known as Cherry. He upholds respect and status within the race, not revealing his softer side. As one of the founders of S, Kaoru ensures fair play and doesn’t mistreat anyone.
What truly amazes everyone is Kaoru’s skateboard, named “Carla.” This artificially intelligent skateboard calculates tricks and maneuvers in advance, helping Kaoru outperform his competitors. Beware when facing Cherry in S and never dare to call him by that name outside of it!
Langa Hasegawa
Langa is a well-known high school student who recently returned from studying in Canada. He tends to keep to himself and doesn’t interact much with others. However, when Reki introduces him to S, Langa develops an interest in skateboarding. Surprisingly, he quickly becomes a skilled skateboarder, mastering basic tricks and maneuvers in no time, even surpassing Reki at times.
Langa and Reki bond over their shared passion for skateboarding. They think alike and are willing to take on any challenge, no matter how risky.
