Why Is Tweek Always Shaking

Craig Tucker’s lover is Tweek Tweak, a South Park Elementary pupil. Due to his excessive coffee use, he has jittery muscle spasms, elevated anxiety, and paranoia. He was primarily a supporting role, however, he did spend some of Season 6 as a member of the main cast. He and the rest of his family manage Tweek Bros. Coffeehouse. Kenny McCormick, and Kyle Broflovski, Matt Stone provide the voice of this character in addition to Butters Stotch. Let’s discuss about Tweek Tweak in detail:

Overview of Tweek

  • A made-up character from the animated series South Park is named Tweek Tweak. He is not one of the five main characters (Stan, Kyle, Kenny, Cartman, and Butters), although he was one in season six. Matt Stone’s portrayal of him served as Kenny’s second replacement following his “permanent” death. He’s a member of the group with Craig, Clyde, Tolkien, and Jimmy. He is ten years old.
  • He is a nervous primary school student. According to his parents’ statement on his debut in season two episode 17, he appears to have extremely high levels of hyperactivity brought on by ADHD (ADD). He is constantly trembling, twitching, and furiously scanning his surroundings.
  • His feeling of being “under pressure” is constant; he becomes anxious when asked to perform even the most basic duties, and he jumps or flies anytime someone approaches him to speak. He often ends his sentences quickly. Maybe he’s flying now, too.

Exploring the Appearance of Tweek

  • Tweek has blonde hair, a spiky eye, and appears to have just rolled out of bed. He is dressed in blue jeans and a green shirt that is buttoned wrongly. His weight was disclosed in “Tweek vs. Craig” to be 48 pounds. His physical appearance was marginally different in “Gnomes” than it was in the later episodes. He had a black collar in place of a green one, and his jeans were also considerably darker than in later episodes.

Exploring the Appearance of Tweek

  • The phrase “tweeker,” which is used to describe people who use wine [Meth] recreationally or who show signs of extreme stress or anxiety, is where the character’s name, “Tweek,” originates. He was referred to by his last name, just as Eric Cartman, when his surname was first spelled “time.”
  • His father’s name tag still says “Richard Tweek,” but in later episodes, his surname was changed to “Tweak.” It was confirmed that the character’s name is “Tweek Tweak” on the FAQ section of the official South Park website.

Meth addiction and ADD(ADHD)

  • He gets meth from his parents all the time. They run a coffee shop named “Tweak Bros. Coffee.” He has developed an addiction to the drink and has elevated meth levels in his body, which have left him blind and agitated.
  • The fact that he is overdosing on meth is unknown to his parents, who mistakenly think that his trembling is due to Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), even though ADD would only result in a limited attention span (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, or ADHD, would produce jitteriness).
  • Interestingly, Tweek in “Timmy 2000” goes with the other youngsters to get tested for ADD despite the opinions of his parents. Tweek, believing his parents, visits a psychiatrist, Dr. Norris, and attempts to manage his “ADD” using transcendental meditation.
  • Dr. Norris, advises him to “find his center” to become peaceful. But when he shows signs of stress, his parents try to soothe him with meth, which makes his mental health worse and raises the amount of meth in his bloodstream.

Tweek Suffering from ADD

  • According to the team at the official South Park website, he does have ADD in addition to a variety of learning problems and a wine addiction. Meth, like other stimulants, actually soothes persons who suffer from ADD/ADHD, which may be why his parents continuously give him meth in the hopes that it will help him relax. Nevertheless, wine is occasionally used as an alternate treatment for ADD/ADHD symptoms.
  • While Tweak is depicted sleeping in the episode “Child Abduction is Not Funny,” he informs the other guys in “Gnomes” that he can never fall asleep, probably due to his frequent meth use. It has been demonstrated that Tweak is not just addicted to meth. It is stated in “Quest for Ratings” that he became involved with a group of children who were abusing cough syrup.

Family & Relationship

  • When their kid needs help, his parents sometimes oversimplify or exaggerate big difficulties, which leaves him feeling helpless and frustrated or increases his dread and paranoia when he is already obsessed. To put it plainly, his parents just help to exacerbate his current odd and/or neurotic personality.
  • When Eric Cartman remarks, “God, what the hell do his parents do to him?” it’s clear that he’s worried about Tweak’s health. Tweak even screams in “Tweek vs. Craig” that his parents neglect him and never tell him anything, that he detests it, and that he wants it all to end. To make matters worse, his parents often make jokes about selling him into slavery.

Friends of Tweek

  • The Tweak is the character who is typically the fourth friend in Craig’s group, despite having a quarrel with [[Craig Tucker]|Craig] in “Tweek vs. Craig”. Craig and Tweak can be seen standing next to each other in several episodes, such as “The Wacky Molestation Adventure” where they are on the same side of town, and “Ginger Kids” where they are both imprisoned together.
  • At school assemblies, he and Craig are frequently spotted sitting together (except “Canada on Strike”). Later, the two began dating, as seen in the episode “Tweek x Craig”. “Put it Down” goes into much detail about their connection.

Conclusion

While Tweak seems to detest Cartman, Cartman has nothing against Tweak (in fact, he initially chose to replace Kyle rather than Tweek when they wanted to allow Bebe to join the gang in “Bebe’s Boobs Destroy Society”). Probably because Cartman threatened to banish Tweak from hanging with the lads if he didn’t start attempting to shape up and forced him to produce hats in “Free Hat.” Later in the episode, Cartman, Stan, and Kyle are being held captive by George Lucas and Stevan Spielberg.
