MATTY Matheson shared a long and passionate kiss with actor Ebon Moss-Bachrach at the Emmys last night.
The real-life chef was delivering an accepting speech after “The Bear” – a series he produced – won an Emmy.

Who is Matty Matheson?
Matty, 42, is a Canadian chef, restaurateur, actor and internet personality.
Born in New Brunswick, Canada, Matty spent summers at his grandfather’s restaurant.
In 2000 he moved to Toronto to join a cooking programme but later dropped out to go on tour as a roadie for his friend’s metal band.
Nonetheless, Matty discovered he had a talent for butchering meat and eventually found employment at a restaurant.
Around twenty years ago Matty began learning advanced French culinary techniques under Chef Rand Nguyen at his Toronto restaurant.
This started Matty’s journey to becoming a well-known celebrity and chef giant.
Matty started a YouTube channel in 2006 which has now amassed over 1.3million subscribers.

His channel is dedicated to sharing recipes and culinary tricks.
Matty partnered with Vice and did several shows including a how-to-series and a show where he travels around Canada to immerse himself in food and culture.
However, his acting career peaked last night when the show he produced and starred in won an award at the Emmys.
The show won the ward for best comedy and Matty “brought to his Emmy moment the same enthusiasm that makes him light up on screen”.
During his speech, he paid tribute to the hospitality industry.
He said: “I just want to thank restaurants as a whole, hospitality as a whole.
“I just love restaurants so much – the good, the bad.
“It’s rough” he added.
“We’re all broken inside and every single day we’ve got to show up and cook and make people feel good by eating something and sitting at a table, and it’s really beautiful.”

Matty’s acceptance speech was interrupted after Emmy winner Moss-Bachrach passionately kissed the chef on the mouth.
What restaurants does Matty Matheson own?
Matty currently runs 11 restaurants all in Canada including Matty’s Patty’s, Prime Seafood and Maker Pizza, a chain with six locations.
In January 2022 he started a Vietnamese restaurant with his mentor and close friend, Rang Nguyen.
One of Matty’s restaurants is named after his daughter Rizzo, 5, which serves hearty Italian dishes.
On top of his restaurants and cooking shows, the entrepreneur also owns a clothing line called, Rosa Rugosa and co-owns a farm.
Who is Matty Matheson’s wife Trish Spencer?
Trish is an American lifestyle and fashion expert who also runs a bridal boutique in Toronto, Canada.
Trish and Matty started dating in high school after her sister encouraged her to go out with him.
The pair have been happily married since 2014 and held a small wedding attended by relatives and friends.
Their relationship was tested after Matty suffered a heart attack at 29 from substance abuse – it almost killed him.
Trish and Matty have three children and they share photos of their adventures on social media.
