Who Died In Jurassic World Dominion

**Warning – Spoilers ahead for Jurassic World Dominion**

The end of a trilogy usually goes hand-in-hand with some character deaths, which is why fans are anxious to find out who survives the gauntlet in Jurassic World Dominion.

We reveal who dies in Dominion, highlight if there is an end-credits scene, and discuss what’s next for the Jurassic franchise.

Directed by Colin Trevorrow, director of the first two Jurassic World films, Jurassic World Dominion is a direct sequel to Fallen Kingdom and features returning stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard joined by Jurassic Park stars Laura Dern, Sam Neill, and Jeff Goldblum.

Who dies in Jurassic World Dominion?

The only character to meet their end in Jurassic World Dominion is head of Biosyn and the villain of the film, Lewis Dodgson – reprising his Jurassic Park role.

Lewis perishes during his attempt to escape the Biosyn sanctuary, before a couple of Dilophosauruses shoot venom in his face which kills him.

The Jurassic fandom will be delighted to hear that the trilogy leads and the original Jurassic Park characters all survive, including Owen, Claire, Maisie, Alan, Ellie, and Ian.

Is there a post-credits scene?

No, Jurassic World Dominion has no post-credits scene to tease fans for the next installment.

Despite Dominion being the final chapter in the Jurassic World trilogy, Dominion has no extra tidbit after the credits, leaving fans wondering if there will be another sequel.

Marvel Studios in particular has set the tradition to now expect a post-credit scene, but this is not the case with every franchise.

The franchise will not continue with a Jurassic World sequel

Jurassic World producer Frank Marshall confirmed to Slash Film that Dominion will conclude the current trilogy:

“I think that ‘Dominion’s’ going to wrap up this trilogy, but we’re not resting on our laurels. We’re going to sit down, and we’re going to see what the future is. We have that wonderful series, ‘Camp Cretaceous,’ on Netflix. We obviously want to make quality, good movies with great storytelling, great writers and directors, but we’re definitely looking to do more in the ‘Jurassic’ world.”

It is unlikely that we will see another film with Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard in the lead roles, and it’s possibly the last time we see original trilogy actors Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum.

Fans will be relieved to know that the franchise will carry on within other original stories, and it’s likely a new trilogy will emerge at some point.
