Drama is around every corner in the Netflix series Ginny & Georgia, whether that comes in the form of family trouble at home or a classmate feud at school.

The early episodes of season 2 certainly feature plenty of the latter as the friendship group known as MANG (Maxine, Abby, Norah and Ginny) finds itself fractured following the events of season 1.
Both Ginny and Abby have been kicked out of the group after getting on Max’s bad side and while it’s clear what Ginny did, the reason Abby is being shunned is not quite as obvious, leading many to wonder exactly what she did.

MANG broken up in Ginny & Georgia season 2
It may be a joyous occasion to have Ginny & Georgia back on our screens after almost two years, but the characters in the show are not having a particularly good time of things as the new season begins.
While Ginny is dealing with the discovery of the fact that her mother is a murderer, she also finds herself excluded from her friendship group, MANG, after it came to light that she had slept with her best friend’s brother, Marcus.

The same fate also befalls Abby as she is also shunned by Max after the events of season 1, reducing the group to just MN.
Abby’s exclusion from the group is tough for her to take, especially when she decorates the group’s hang-out spot for Max’s birthday in the hopes of getting back into her good books, only to see Max tear down the huge ‘Happy Birthday’ banner.
What did Abby do to Max in Ginny & Georgia?
Abby is being excluded from the group because she knew about Ginny and Marcus sleeping together and didn’t tell Max – even when Max asked her about it.
Their falling out occurs in the final episode of season 1 when Ginny attempts to explain the situation to Max.
During the heated argument, Ginny accidentally throws Abby under the bus as she wrongly believes that Abby told Max about her and Marcus after catching them embracing.
However, in actual fact, Max had looked on Marcus’s phone and found the photo and messages that Ginny had sent to her brother, confirming their relationship.
Abby is arguably hard done by as she claims that she didn’t tell Max as she wanted to prevent her from being hurt, but this doesn’t wash with Max and when season 2 begins, they are no longer on speaking terms.

Yes, Abby, Max and the rest of MANG do eventually makeup in season 2 of Ginny & Georgia.
In the opening episodes of the new season, tensions are running high between the former friends and there are plenty of passive-aggressive comments and glaring looks shared.
But thankfully, the situation is finally resolved in episode 4 as Max celebrates her 16th birthday.
She continues to be downright horrible to Ginny and Abby which eventually causes Norah to abandon her as well as she makes up with her two other friends.
This results in a seething Max finally confronting Ginny about what has happened and the conversation they have brings an end to their ongoing feud as Ginny reveals that her relationship with Marcus has been more than just a simple hook-up.
To celebrate their renewed friendship, Ginny arranges to host a party for Max at her house and during the evening, Max apologizes to Abby and admits that she made mistakes herself, thus allowing MANG to be reunited at last. Hooray!
