Even though the year is winding down, the fun is just beginning at the Grand Ole Opry this month.
As the holiday season gets into full swing, the hallowed stage will play host to its annual Christmas traditions, including the celebrated Opry Country Christmas shows.

The special programs will see some of our favorite artists giving us their take on classic holiday tunes, including Scotty McCreery, Hailey Whitters, Trace Adkins, Chris Young, Maddie & Tae, Lady A, Frank Ray, Steven Curtis Chapman, Chris Janson, Mandy Barnett and more.
After a busy fall season, which saw two inductions – Mr. Saturday Night Jon Pardi and the always lovely Sara Evans – and an array of Opry debuts from Chayce Beckham, Nolan Taylor, Jake Kohn, Austin Snell and Sophia Scott, to name a few, December will see second-generation tunesmith Tommy Prine step into the circle for the first time on December 8, as well as Robert Finley on December 9.
Elsewhere during the month, the venue will host its Opry NextStage Live event on December 6. Hosted by the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year, Lainey Wilson, the show will feature performances from a cohort of new and exciting faces in country music, including Ashley Cooke, Chapel Hart, ERNEST, Jackson Dean, Kameron Marlowe, Corey Kent and Wilson herself.
Throughout the month, attendees will be treated to plenty of traditional Opry shows with country staples Connie Smith, Don Schlitz, Rhonda Vincent, Vince Gill, Patty Loveless, Henry Cho, Steve Wariner, Dailey & Vincent, Steve Earle and more taking the stage across December.
Along the way, the circle will also see several new and established modern stars on the lineup. Among the most exciting performances on the docket are Dustin Lynch, Ashley McBryde, Josh Turner, Lauren Alaina, Gabe Lee and Ben Chapman.
Before the month and year’s end, the hallowed venue will also play host to For King + Country’s A Drummer Boy Christmas Tour from December 20-22, as well as Tommee Profitt’s The Birth of a King Live on December 4.
