Following her successful 2023 campaign that saw her lift her maiden Grand Slam title at the US Open, Coco Gauff is hoping for more trophies in 2024.
The American started the season by successfully defending her ASB Classic title in Auckland and then enjoyed a run to the semi-final of the Australian Open – her best performance at the tournament to date – only to be defeated by eventual champion Aryna Sabalenka.

But which other tournaments are set to feature on her 2024 calendar?
Coco Gauff’s possible 2024 tennis calendar
Qatar Open – February 12-18
Coco Gauff will join a high-quality field at the first WTA 1000 event of the 2024 season as she will join fellow top-10 players Iga Swiatek, Elena Rybakina, Ons Jabeur and Marketa Vondrousova in the line-up.
Last year she reached the quarter-final before losing in three sets against Veronika Kudermetova.

Dubai Tennis Championships – February 19-24
It is back-to-back WTA 1000 events on the hard courts in the Middle East as the top players will immediately move to the Dubai Tennis Championships in the United Arab Emirates.
Gauff reached the semi-final in 2023 before she was beaten by world No 1 Swiatek in straight sets.
Indian Wells Open – March 6-17
The Sunshine Double is always high on the agenda for players from the United States and Gauff will be looking to become the first American since Serena Williams in 2001 to win the women’s singles titles.
Gauff enjoyed her best run to date at Indian Wells last year as she reached the quarter-final, only to lose in straight sets against Sabalenka.
Miami Open – March 18-31
Sloane Stephens is the most recent American women’s singles champion at the Miami Open with her title run coming in 2018 and Gauff will be looking to replicate her success.
However, the American is yet to make it past the fourth round stage in Florida.
Porsche Tennis Grand Prix – April 15-21

The Porsche Tennis Grand Prix is a favourite among the top women’s players in the world and why wouldn’t it be when you consider the winner of the tournament drives away with a brand new Porsche?
Gauff is expected to feature at the Stuttgart clay-court event although she doesn’t have the best of records at the German tournament as she lost in the second round last year while in 2022 she made a first-round exit.
Madrid Open – April 23-May 4
The clay-court action moves over to the Spanish capital and Gauff will also be looking to improve on her record at La Caja Mágica as she lost in the third round the previous two years and lost in the opening round on her debut in 2021.
Italian Open – May 7-18
The Italian Open at Foro Italico is traditionally the final warm-up event for the big-name players ahead of Roland Garros.
Gauff went down in three sets against Marie Bouzkova in the third round last year while she reached the semi-final in 2021.
Roland Garros – May 27-June 9
Coco Gauff has enjoyed plenty of success at Roland Garros with her best performance coming in 2022 when she finished runner-up to Iga Swiatek.
She has also reached two quarter-finals at the Paris Grand Slam, including last year when she again went down against eventual champion Swiatek.
Eastbourne International – June 24-29
A lot of players prefer to skip grass-court events before Wimbledon, but Gauff has opted for Eastbourne in recent years.
Last year she made the semi-final of the WTA 500 event, losing against Madison Keys, while she lost in the second round in 2021.
Wimbledon – July 1-14
Wimbledon 2023 was a tournament to forget for Gauff as she was stunned by qualifier Sofia Kenin in the first round, but she also has happy memories from the grass-court major.
Back in 2019 she became the youngest qualifier to reach the main draw at the age of 15 years and she beat tennis great Venus Williams en route to her run to the fourth round.
Paris Olympics – July 27-August 4

Coco Gauff is favourite to lead the United States’ Olympic hopes at the 2024 Paris Olympics. She is likely to play both singles and doubles alongside Jessica Pegula.
Playing at the Olympics, though, will force her to miss her Citi Open title defence as the tournaments will run at the same time.
Canadian Open – August 6-12
Gauff enjoyed a near-perfect North American hard-court campaign last year as she followed up her Citi Open title with a run to the quarter-final of the Canadian Open, losing against Pegula.
The American has reached the last eight on all three of her visits to Canada.
Cincinnati Open – August 12-18
Gauff won the biggest title of her career at the time at the 2023 Cincinnati Open as she claimed her first win over world No 1 Iga Swiatek in the semi-final before beating Karolina Muchova in the final.
It was the first time that Gauff had made it to the latter stages of the event as before that she lost in the first round, the second round and the first round.
US Open – August 26-September 8
Flushing Meadows was where Coco Gauff realised her Grand Slam dream in 2023 as she joined the US Open winners’ circle.
Seeded sixth, Gauff beat Aryna Sabalenka in three sets in the final to win her maiden major in front of her home fans.
China Open – September 25-October 6
The American made her WTA 1000 Beijing debut last year and she reached the semi-final before going down in straight sets against second seed Swiatek.
Zhengzhou Open – October 14-20
Gauff was due to play at the Zhengzhou Open last year, but withdrew due to injury. She could opt to return this year, but could also opt to take an extended break.
WTA Finals – November 4-10
There is still a long way to go, but if Gauff qualifies for the season-ending tournament then she will look to improve on her semi-final run last year. She also qualified in 2022, but lost in the round-robin stage.
