Swords
Forgotten Sword – After going to the Sanctuary, Link gets the sword in order to save Seres. The sword is the primary weapon in the game and can be used to defeat most enemies.

Master Sword – The Master Sword is a more powerful sword. It is found in the Lost Woods after getting all of the Pendants.
Master Sword Lv2 – The Master Sword Lv2 is an upgraded version of the Master Sword using 2x Master Ore at the Blacksmith in Hyrule.
Master Sword Lv3 – The Master Lv3 is an upgraded version of the Master Sword Lv2 using 2x Master Ore at the Blacksmith in Lorule after Link gets the Master Sword Lv2.
Shields
Shield – The shield allows Link to block attacks. It can be bought at the various Item Shops located throughout the game for 50 rupees.
Hylian Shield – The Hylian Shield is a more powerful shield than the first one Link gets. The Hylian Shield is located in the Turtle Rock dungeon.
Tunics
Green Tunic – This is the first piece of clothes Link has when starting the game.
Blue Mail – This is an upgraded version of the tunic that makes attacks only deal half damage. The Blue Mail is located in the Swamp Palace dungeon.
Red Mail – This is an upgraded version of the tunic that makes attackes only deal half damage – or quarter damage when combined with the Blue Mail. The Red Mail is located in the Lorule Castle dungeon.
Power Gloves
Power Glove – The Power Glove lets Link pick up small rocks. Link gets the Power Glove from talking with Rosso in his house to the west of Death Mountain.

Titan’s Mitt – An upgraded Power Glove that can be found in the Desert Palace dungeon. The Titan’s Mitt allows Link to pick up large rocks.
Sages
Sage Gulley – You get Sage Gulley after completing the Dark Palace dungeon and touching the painting.
Sage Oren – You get Sage Oren after completing the Swamp Palace dungeon and touching the painting.
Sage Rosso – You get Sage Rosso after completing the Ice Ruins dungeon and touching the painting.
Sage Impa – You get Sage Impa after completing the Turtle Rock dungeon and touching the painting.
Sage Irene – You get Sage Irene after completing the Desert Palace dungeon and touching the painting.
Sage Osfala – You get Sage Osfala after completing the Thieves’ Hideout dungeon and touching the painting.
Sage Seres – You get Sage Seres after completing the Skull Woods dungeon and touching the painting.
Pendants of Virtue
Pendant of Power – The Pendant of Power is acquired after finishing the Tower of Hera dungeon.
Pendant of Courage – Princess Zelda give you this in the beginning of the game. Sahasrahla identifies it later on in the game though.
Pendant of Wisdom – The Pendant of Wisdom is acquired after finishing the House of Gales dungeon.

Ravio’s Bracelet – Ravio’s Bracelet is used to turn Link into a painting and merge with walls. This is a main item used throughout the game. It is given to Link by Ravio near the beginning of the game. For more details see our Sanctuary walkthrough.
Zora’s Flippers – The Zora’s Flippers let Link swim in the water and dive. The Zora’s Flippers are given to Link after retrieving the smooth stone for Queen Oren. See our Zora’s Domain walkthrough for details.
Stamina Scroll – The Stamina Scroll increases the Stamina Gauge that Link uses when attacking with items. The Stamina Scroll is located in the Ice Ruins dungeon.
Pegasus Boots – Catch the Shady Guy in Kakariko Village after he runs into Link outside of Zora’s Domain. Simply merge with the wall and sneak up behind Shady Guy in order to catch him. The Pegasus Boots allow Link to run faster and are similar to their A Link to the Past counterpart.
Bee Badge -Trade a Golden Bee (cost 9,999 at the Item Shop west of Turtle Rock) to the Bee Guy in Kakariko Village. You can alternatively purchase it from a guy inside a cave in the back of Skull Woods for 888 rupees or happen across one in the wild while cutting bushes.
Piece of Heart – There are a total of 28 heart pieces in the game. Link gets a new heart container each time 4 heart pieces are found. For the locations – see our Heart Piece Locations guide.
Rupees – Rupees are a main-stay in the franchise. Link uses them to purchase items as well as play mini-games.
Lost Maiamai – Lost Maiamai are required to upgrade Link’s weapons. There are 100 total and they are scattered across both Hyrule and Lorule. They are similar to the Gold Skulltulas in Ocarina of Time 3D. For the locations – see our Lost Maiamai Locations guide.
Monster Tail – Monster Tails are used by the Witch in order to create Blue Potions. They can be found in chests and randomly throughout the game.
Monster Horn – Monster Horns are used by the Witch in order to create Yellow Potions. They can be found in chests and randomly throughout the game.
Monster Guts – Monster Guts are used by the Witch in order to create Purple Potions. They can be found in chests and randomly throughout the game.
Master Ore – Master Ore is used when upgrading the Master Sword. There are a total of 4 pieces throughout the game. For the locations – see our Master Ore guide.
