This is what allows us to prevail, to prove superior! Another way of looking at “I can do” is by this confession, “I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses inner strengthen into me” {Amplified Bible}. This is a prevailing attitude that we can develop in our lives. This is an attitude which is the completely opposite of the “victim mentality” that is promoted in our society today. God’s Word can teach anyone how to develop this prevailing attitude in life! It starts with a desire to grow, a desire to learn. Look at this verse.

I Peter 2:2 –

that ye may grow thereby:

Growth begins by the process of feeding our minds with the Word of God. When we feed our minds with the word of God, we develop a godly perspective, {Trust in the Lord, http://wp.me/p2c7um-8t,} we become partakers of the divine nature.

I Peter 1:4 –

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises;

that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature,

having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

As we feed on the precious promises of God’s Word we gain strength to approach our challenges with God as our partner. We develop an “I can do” attitude. We learn to prove God’s Word as God’s will for our lives. We prove God’s Word by feeding our minds with the truth.
