ABC’s fall lineup is finally complete. While the usual series are shelved as writers and actors strike for a living wage, ABC has continued to shake up its schedule, but the final question mark on the calendar — Monday nights — has now been filled in. The network, which already simulcast the season opener of Monday Night Football with ESPN, will continue to air MNF games for the remainder of the football season, per The Hollywood Reporter. Meanwhile, Dancing with the Stars is moving to Tuesdays for Season 32.
The dance competition series will air on ABC on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET starting Sept. 26. Episodes will be simulcast on Disney+. After an expanded two-and-a-half-hour season premiere, the show will run for two hours each week, and will be followed by Press Your Luck starting on Oct. 10. Thursdays will now be home to Bachelor franchise spin-offs, with ABC’s lone new series of the season, The Golden Bachelor, premiering Sept. 28 at 8 p.m. ET, followed by Bachelor in Paradise at 9 p.m. Wednesdays will now be full of game shows (Celebrity Jeopardy!, Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, $100,000 Pyramid), while Fridays will see the returns of Shark Tank and 20/20 and Sundays bring back America’s Funniest Home Videos and The Wonderful World of Disney.

All of ABC’s other familiar programs, such as Grey’s Anatomy and The Good Doctor, are being held for a later date, and overloading the schedule with game shows allows ABC the flexibility to insert its scripted fare in the lineup when the timing is right, though that comes with the possibility of shorter seasons, if we get seasons at all.
In other news, ABC is calling 9-1-1, but it’s not an emergency. The network is the new home to the first responder drama after it moves over from Fox, where it aired for six seasons, to ABC in an unusual move even for this wacky age of television we live in. But like other scripted shows, the timing of its return is still unknown.
