The Dublin-based Apple+ TV series follows the adventures of the five Garvey sisters, who plot the death of their brother-in-law.
The show also stars Sarah Greene, Eva Birthistle and Anne-Marie Duff. The first season received critical acclaim and filming kicked off in the capital again last Friday.

Sharon Horgan’s season 2 of Bad Sisters filming in Donabate, Dublin
Fingal County Council gave details of the upcoming filming on social media.
“Beach Carpark Donabate closed Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st September due to filming of Season 2 of Bad Sisters in the Donabate Area.
“The beach car park at Donabate is currently being used for location purposes by the production company.

“As a result, the car park will be closed for public use on Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st September.”
The Council apologised for any disruption caused, but highlighted the opportunity the show presents to showcase Ireland in a positive light.
“We regret any inconvenience caused. Filming has also been taking place in the Rush and Howth area.
“This has presented an amazing opportunity to showcase the beauty of Fingal and the north Dublin coastline to an international audience in this award-winning internationally acclaimed production,” the council added.
Show creator Sharon Horgan spoke last year about her love of the city, in particular some of Dublin’s iconic pubs.
“The Cobblestone is one of those pubs that you walk in and you feel like you could be in any decade,” she said.

“It’s an amazing pub. Its future was hanging in the balance when we were filming Bad Sisters there.
“Then Kehoe’s was the pub next door to a café I worked in as a teenager. It’s just a really beautiful place. It’s all wood panelling and ‘snugs’, where you can go into a little room, like a confession booth.
“It also does a really good pint of Guinness,” Sharon added.
Ms Horgan also has a love for the Iveagh Gardens in Dublin.
“I don’t know why I discovered this park so late in my dotage. It’s a really beautiful garden. When you walk through it, it takes you out fairly near to Stephen’s Green, and you can walk in the back of a really great café and have some lunch there,” she said.
Bad Sisters is nominated for several awards at the 75th Emmy Awards which will take place in January.
Horgan is also nominated for Lead Actress in a Drama Series, and Bad Sisters is nominated for Outstanding Directing For A Drama Series category (Dearbhla Walsh) and the Outstanding Casting For A Drama Series category (Nina Gold and Lucy Amos).
