According to Yasmine’s caption for her post on January 1, 2024, they named their baby girl Aurora Sofia E. Vargas.

The Vargas family, already blessed with three other children —Alexandra Milan, Aryana Cassandra, and Alfredo Cristiano—is now complete with the addition of little Aurora.

HIGH-RISK PREGNANCY
Despite the joyous occasion, the journey to expanding their family was marked by challenges, primarily revolving around Yasmine’s health.
Yasmine has been grappling with Hyperemesis Gravidarum, a condition characterized by severe and persistent nausea and vomiting, since her first pregnancy.
The complications were further compounded by her battle with Generalized Anxiety Disorder, which surfaced during her third pregnancy.

On September 18, 2023 during the Urban Smile Dental Clinic‘s 36th anniversary celebration, Alfred disclosed to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) that his family had been carefully monitoring Yasmine’s health.
He revealed that in additon to Hyperemesis Gravidarum and Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Yasmine’s cervix also had complications.
“Yung cervix niya, medyo nagkaroon kami ng kaunting challenge dun.
“Kasi isang beses, nag-routinary check-up kami, tapos biglang nag-open yung cervix niya, in-admit na siya kaagad.
“Thank God, she underwent naman a procedure called cerclage, sinara yung cervix niya.”
