Aurora Teagarden aka “Roe” to family and friends, is a librarian in the fictional town of Lawrenceton, Washington, her and her friends are members of the Real Murders Club, a group that delves into true crime mysteries at their book club meetings.
The films are based on the Aurora Teagarden books by Charlaine Harris. Charlaine has had many other book series get adapted to the screen such as The Southern Vampire Mysteries, which turned into the popular HBO series, True Blood.

37989 Cleveland Ave in Squamish serves as the location for the Lawrenceton newspaper office and Aurora’s condo is at 41719 Honey Ln, Squamish. 37955 2 Ave/37995 2 Ave, Squamish has turned into the Lawrenceton Police Department and 38055 Cleveland Ave is the background for The Ledge Community Coffee House.
