2K has stepped up its game in PGA Tour 2K23 by giving players a lot more real-life golf courses to enjoy. Unlike its previous version, PGA Tour 2K21, which only had 17 real courses, this new edition boasts 25 real courses.
PGA 2k23 Course Designer
To design a course in PGA Tour 2K23 using the Course Designer mode, follow these steps:
- Access the Course Designer – Launch PGA Tour 2K23 and navigate the Course Designer mode from the main menu.
- Choose a Theme – Select one of the 12 available themes for your course. Themes include Autumn, Boreal, Countryside, Desert, Delta, Harvest, Tropical, Winter, Rustic, Steppe, Swiss and Highlands.
- Customize Aesthetics – Use the available assets, such as trees, bushes, and other objects, to create the desired visual elements of your course.
- Edit Layout – Design the layout of your golf course by placing tee boxes, fairways, bunkers, and greens.
- Adjust Difficulty – Fine-tune the difficulty level of your course using the Course Designer’s tools. You can control the fairways’ length, the hazards’ placement, and the greens’ size and undulation to cater to players of different skill levels.
- Use New Tools – Make use of the updated Course Designer tools, such as spline fences.
- Enhance visuals – Utilize terrain, lighting, weather, and backdrop options.
- Save and Upload – Once satisfied with your course design, save your creation. You also have the option to share it with the entire PGA Tour 2K23 community.
Is Augusta National On PGA 2k23?
Unfortunately, the Augusta National Golf Club of Georgia is not featured in PGA 2k23.

Augusta National is a private golf course and does not permit its representation to be included in video games.
In PGA Tour 2K23, even though Augusta National is not officially allowed to be featured, some community members have created courses inspired by it.
These user-made courses can be downloaded and played in the game, giving players a similar experience to the real Augusta National. However, they are not officially endorsed by the golf course itself.
