Well, they enjoy mountainous areas. So, look in the rocky areas at the following locations:
- Asado Desert
- Glaseado Mountain
- East Province (Area One)
- North Province (Area One)
- South Province (Areas Two, Four, Five, Six)
- West Province (Area One)

An always exciting feature about Rockruff is how they evolve. Although they always turn into a wolf-like creatures, Rockruff has three potential evolutions depending on the time of day. If they evolve at Level 25 during the daytime, Rockruff changes into Lycanroc Midday. Evolving at Level 25 during the nighttime changes Rockruff into Lycanroc Midnight. Lastly, evolving at Level 25 when the Ability is “Own Tempo,” Rockruff transforms into Lycanroc Dusk.
