The primary location of the film is the hotel where Tim and the wrong Missy end up staying. The hotel on show is the Four Seasons in Ko’Olina which also played host to the Amy Schumer-starring film Snatched.
According to The Cinemaholic, right next door to the Four Seasons is the Aulani hotel but as this property is owned by Disney, the Netflix film crew had to film around the building to avoid upsetting the house of mouse.
Other projects filmed on Oahu
Oahu has proven to be a popular filming location over the years with over 250 productions said to have filmed there according to IMDb.
Some of the biggest films and TV shows to use the location include Magnum P.I., Hawaii Five-O, 2015’s Jurassic World, Kong: Skull Island and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
The Wrong Missy, which was filmed primarily on Oahu in Hawaii, is available to stream now after releasing on Netflix on May 13th, 2020.
