How To Get Gloves Of Dexterity Bg3

Throughout your playthrough of Baldur’s Gate 3, you’ll find a plethora of gear items for your characters. Whether you steal or purchase them, certain items have special effects and rarity levels. Take the Gloves of Dexterity, for example. These rare gloves are perfect for a character you’d like to have a higher DEX score. Let me explain how you can get these Gloves of Dexterity in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Baldur’s Gate 3 (BG3): Where to find the Gloves of Dexterity

Sadly, if you’ve ventured far into Act 2, and especially if you’ve gone into Act 3, you’ve missed these gloves. But if you still have access to the Mountain Pass area, you should be able to find them. How you can get the Gloves of Dexterity in Baldur’s Gate 3 is by trading them from A’jak’nir Jeera in the Crèche Y’llek in Act 1.

If you still have access to this area in Act 1, you’ll be able to get these gloves! A’jak’nir Jeera is a Githyanki trader who offers some interesting wares. You can find her just south of the Crèche Y’llek waypoint. This underground base is where the Githyanki reside, which is under Rosymorn Monastery. I was able to purchase them for 650 Gold, but depending on your Charisma stat, that price may be different.

What do these gloves do exactly? Well, they increase the wearer’s Dexterity score to 18, and gives a +1 bonus to attack rolls. If your DEX score is already above 18, it won’t change your score at all. It seems like the Gloves of Dexterity are best used with a character who doesn’t already have a high DEX, but would benefit from a higher DEX.

Perhaps it isn’t their main ability, but they still use ranged weapons often. Take Lae’zel, for example. While Strength is her highest stat because she’s a Fighter, she often resorts to using her crossbow, so I could give her these Gloves of Dexterity. DEX is also responsible for your Armor Class, so maybe you need to give them to someone with a terribly low AC.
