First of all, it is worth noting that you can get Med Packs in Starfield in two ways:

  • Firstly, you can buy this consumable item from doctors and some specific vendors in big cities.
  • On the other hand, you can find Med Packs as a random drop.

To get Med Packs with a 100% chance, you should visit doctors in big cities. For example, you can talk to Talia O’Shea in The Well Med Bay below New Atlantis. As for the entrance to this location, you can find it to the right of the main Jemison Mercantile entrance and to the left of Terrabrew Coffee. Or you can visit Dr. Alexei Lebedev at Reliant Medical in the MAST building.

An alternative way to obtain this item is to buy it from vendors. You can find Med Packs in the AID tab of almost any vendor in cities or space stations. For example, you can visit Amoli Bava at Jemison Mercantile. But the assortment of goods depends somewhat on your level. So, if you don’t find needed goods, you might want to level up a little.

It is worth noting that the average price of Med Packs is 525 Credits from Vendors and slightly cheaper from Doctors. However, despite this, the stocks of any traders are limited. So, to buy more items, sit on the nearest chair or lie down on the Wells Med Bay cots and wait 24 hours.
