Jojo Siwa’s fans haven’t taken kindly to her repeated posts in which she joked about being pregnant.

The 19-year-old social media star — who seemed to claim recently that Nickelodeon responded poorly to her coming out — has left her followers scratching their heads after sharing multiple photos and videos throughout the month of March that seemed to suggest she was pregnant.

But she has also shut down rumors of a pregnancy, indicating that he posts were just meant to be harmless jokes.

Several fans found the ongoing series of posts ‘extremely disrespectful and insensitive,’ though Jojo doesn’t appear to have responded to any of the fan backlash yet.

However, she seemingly laid to rest any question of a pregnancy in a Snapchat story from March 27, in which she clarified that she doesn’t plan to have children until later in life, via Insider.

She added that being gay also meant adoption was a more viable solution for her in the future.

Jojo’s joking pregnancy posts began this month, though several fans noted that she has apparently been single since December, when she broke up with the TikTok star Avery Cyrus.

Earlier in March, Jojo posted a Snapchat photo in which she pulled her hoodie up and put her hands over her stomach, captioning the misleading photo: ‘Can’t believe it.’

She followed it up with a photo of herself appearing to shop for baby clothes, though the posts have since disappeared.

Some fans were shocked by the posts, while others realized that they were likely jokes.

Even as some of her followers worried that she was too young to carry a child, more reasonable posters acknowledged that the dancer was more likely pregnant with a ‘food baby.’

Jojo subsequently shared a TikTok video responding to the concerns.

Although she didn’t say a word, she reposted a video of someone concerned that she might be pregnant, before she cut in with her new clip and started laughing, as if the original post was ridiculous.

But Jojo continued to tease her fans. She returned with another post later in March in which she held her stomach and wrote, ‘TEAM BOY OR TEAM GIRL,’ according to Insider.

In a Snapchat video posted on March 27, the reality star enlisted her friend, the dancer Ezra Sosa.

While he laid his hands on her midriff, he said, ‘You know that everyone thinks I’m the dad, right?’

A subsequent photo showed him touching her stomach, and she captioned it, ‘The father of my baby!!!:)’

Jojo continued the ruse by posting with baby clothes and supplies again, though she later returned to Snap to say that she wanted to treat any of her fans who were expecting by buying them the baby supplies she had been browsing.

She also shut down the pregnancy rumors for good in a video from later in the day in which she opened up about how her sexuality affects the prospect of her having biological children in the future.

‘It’s not the social norm how I will end up having kids one day,’ she said.

‘Biologically to have kids you need a male and a female, and kids watch this, so I’m not going to talk about how babies are made, but babies are made with male and female,’ she continued, adding, “There will never be that male significant other in my life.’

Then she said that she was more likely to look for sperm donation in the future when she has a partner, or she could adopt.

However, those options were still ‘very far away’ for her.

‘I have accepted that the universe wants me to be single right now,’ she said.

Despite the multiple clarifications, fans still found her pregnancy jokes tasteless. ‘Doesnt’ anybody else think it’s extremely disrespectful and insensitive for Jojo Siwa to be pretending to be pregnant?????’ wrote one person on Twitter.

Another user wrote that Siwa ‘is weird and pregnancy isn’t a joke.’

‘If i see jojo siwa pretending to be pregnant on my snapchat one more time imma scream,’ added another.

One user wrote, ‘Am I the only one who thinks it’s weird jojo siwa keeps acting like she’s pregnant because she’s full?’

One post featured a clip from Toy Story showing the piggy bank Hamm flipping between TV channels rapidly, captioning it, ‘me skipping through jojo siwa’s story to see if she actually pregnant.’
