How To Make Boxing Glove Cupcake Toppers

This listing is for thirty 1.5″ edible cupcake toppers printed on a Frosted Icing Sheet (also known as frosting sheets) or Wafer Paper (also known as rice paper), using edible ink. Due to the size of the cupcake toppers we are unfortunately NOT able to personalise them with a message. They will also be uncut and will require you to cut out each cupcake topper individually using a pair of clean, dry scissors. Please check the “How To Apply The Cupcake Toppers” section for more information. This design may also be available as a larger cake topper. If you require a larger cake topper or perhaps a different style/design, please search the cake toppers section of our shop. The order will be sent in a resealable plastic bag to help it remain fresh and within a cardboard backed envelope for protection. They will last for up to 12 months if stored in a cool, dry, flat location (somewhere like a cupboard or drawer works perfectly) and within the original packaging but we recommend using them within three months of purchase for best results. For the best quality results, we will always advise and recommend you purchase a set of Frosted Icing Sheet cupcake toppers. Wafer Paper toppers are usually an acceptable substitute if you’re making a set of cheaper cupcakes where quality is not the main focus, but please keep in mind that wafer paper is more transparent and the colours will not be as vibrant as shown on the pictures above so there will be a noticeable difference in quality. For more information check out the image below for a visual comparison: image host To apply the cupcake toppers, simply cut them out with a pair of clean, dry scissors. Once cut out apply the toppers onto the cupcakes using a VERY SMALL amount of water and gently press down with your clean, dry hands going from the middle outwards until the topper melds to the cake nicely. If you have ordered a Frosted Icing Sheet, there will be a clear plastic backing that you will need to peel off before applying the toppers to the cupcakes. Wafer paper does not come on a backing and can be applied as soon as you have cut it out. WARNING: If you’ve purchased wafer paper cupcake toppers be careful as the wafer paper will curl or dissolve if it gets too wet, so it’s best not to use it on wet or runny icing until it has set. Be careful applying the cupcake toppers onto freshly creamed or buttercream cupcakes, as the fat in some types of cream will dissolve wafer paper and frosted icing sheets over time. If you’re not sure, then wait to apply the cupcake toppers until the day of the event and use the cupcakes as soon as possible to avoid the toppers from getting ruined. Once a cupcake topper has been applied to a cupcake do not put the cupcakes in the fridge or any cold location, as the cold temperature will cause the toppers to crack, ruining the image. If you’re still not sure on how to apply the toppers or would like a video guide to follow along with, the best thing to do is look online for videos on how to apply the toppers and follow along. image host All orders are delivered to you by Royal Mail.
