The end of hunting season in Ohio means deer hunters can start using muzzleloader rifles.
A muzzleloader is a firearm that is only loaded through the open end of the barrel, also known as the muzzle. The gun requires special powder and other equipment to shoot. Some find the black powder system antiquated, while others use it as a cheaper alternative to other hunting methods.
