Who Played For The Jaguars And Bengals

There is a good chance that if you’ve found this page then you’re playing the Immaculate Grid.

That also means that today’s grid has asked for players that have played for both the Jacksonville Jaguars and Cincinnati Bengals.

And, it also means that you’re probably stuck on this particular box and you’re looking for a little help. Sound about right so far?

Well, good news, you’re in the right place.

I’ve done some research and have found players who played for both the Jaguars and the Bengals.

Tyler Eifert

Tyler Eifert was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He demonstrated his potential as a receiving threat in the 2015 season, securing 13 touchdown catches, which led all tight ends in the league that year. His impressive performance earned him a Pro Bowl selection.

Unfortunately, Eifert’s career has been marred by injuries, including a severe ankle injury during the 2016 Pro Bowl that led to multiple surgeries and limited his playing time in subsequent seasons. Despite these setbacks, Eifert remained a valuable target in the red zone due to his size and pass-catching abilities.

After seven seasons with the Bengals, Eifert signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars for the 2020 season. After one season in Jacksonville, Eifert retired from the league.

Marvin Jones

Marvin Jones Jr. was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 5th round of the 2012 NFL Draft. As a rookie, he showed promise in limited playing time, and by his second season, he had solidified his role in the Bengals’ receiving corps with 10 touchdown catches.

In Detroit, he became one of the primary targets in the Lions’ aerial attack, offering a dependable option for quarterback Matthew Stafford. Jones excelled in the 2017 season when he reached over 1,000 receiving yards (1,101) for the first time in his career.

His reliability as a receiver has earned him recognition as one of the more underrated players at his position in the league.

Reggie Nelson

Reggie Nelson played college football at the University of Florida, where he was recognized as a unanimous All-American and helped his team win the 2006 BCS National Championship.

Nelson was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft. After spending three seasons with the Jaguars, he was traded to the Cincinnati Bengals, where his career saw a significant resurgence. Nelson led the NFL in interceptions in 2015 with eight, which resulted in a Pro Bowl selection.

In 2016, Nelson signed with the Oakland Raiders, where he played for three seasons and earned his second Pro Bowl selection. Throughout his 12-season NFL career, Nelson was known for his hard-hitting style and knack for creating turnovers. He recorded more than 800 tackles, intercepted 38 passes, and had 9 forced fumbles.
