Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport Terminal Information

Introduction

Atlanta International Airport has two terminals (north and south) where you will find ticketing, baggage reclaim, and check-in facilities. Connected to these terminals by a unique underground transit mall and subway train system are six concourses with all the flight gates and the majority of the concessions and amenities.

North Terminal

Atlanta Airport’s North Terminal caters for the ticketing and check-in of most international and domestic carriers except Delta Air Lines.

South Terminal

Atlanta Airport’s South Terminal contains ticketing and check-in facilities for AeroMexico, Air France, ASA, Comair, Delta Air Lines, Hooters Air, and South African Airways.

Concourse T

Atlanta Airport’s Concourse T serves American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines. Gates T1-T15.

Concourse A

Atlanta Airport’s Concourse A serves Delta Air Lines only. Gates A1-A34.

Concourse B

Atlanta Airport’s Concourse B also serves Delta Air Lines plus Hooters Air. Gates B1-B35.

Concourse C

Atlanta Airport’s Concourse C serves AirTran Airways, ASA (a Delta Air Lines Connection partner), and Comair. Gates C1-C36.

Concourse D

Atlanta Airport’s Concourse D serves Air Canada and domestic carriers such as America West Airlines, Continental Airlines, Corporate Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Frontier Airlines, Independence Air, Midwest Airlines, Northwest Airlines, TransMeridian Airlines, and US Airways. Gates D1-D38.

Concourse E

Atlanta Airport’s Concourse E serves international arrivals and departures. Gates E1-E36.

Shopping

Over 200 concessions are located throughout Atlanta Airport, spread amongst the concourses and underground transit mall, with the first batch situated in the atrium, between the North and South Terminals.

Restaurants and Bars

Atlanta Airport offers a wide selection of fast-food outlets, with some local favorites represented such as the Atlanta Bread Company, Edy’s Grand Ice Cream, and Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs. Others include Burger King, Starbucks, and Paschal’s Southern Delights.

Business Services

Atlanta Airport’s array of world-class amenities for the business traveler has given the airport a reputation as one of the best airports in America for business travelers. In addition, there is a fully equipped business center. Conveniently located in the heart of the airport, the Executive Conference Center (ECC) is a state-of-the-art facility consisting of 23 meeting rooms including press rooms, boardrooms, classrooms of various sizes, and a VIP suite, with computer workstations.

Internet Access

The Executive Conference Center (ECC) provides business travelers individual computers with Internet access.

Post

The US Post Office is open Monday through Saturday from 6:30 am to 9:00 pm and 12:00 noon to 8:30 pm on Sunday. The office is located in the southwest area of the atrium, across from the Delta Air Lines baggage claim area. For additional information, call: 404 305 0283.

Currency Exchange and ATMs

Foreign Exchange Desks Travelex has two currency exchange locations at Atlanta Airport in the main terminal and at Concourse E near gate 26. Please contact Travelex at: 404 761 6331.
