MAGGIORA (Italy), 23 September 2016 – It’s finally here! The biggest and best event of the season, the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations presented by Fiat Professional, and what better venue to host this epic clash of motocross giants than Maggiora Park, one of the gnarliest and most spectacular tracks and venues in the world.
Italians are known for their passion, and their theatrical behavior, which is bound to make for an insane atmosphere out here at Maggiora Park as Team France, Romain Febvre, Gautier Paulin and Benoit Paturel try to defend the crown against 38 other nations such as Team USA with Cooper Webb, Jason Anderson and Alex Martin, Team Belgium with Kevin Strijbos, Jeremy Van Horebeek and Brent Van Doninck, Team The Netherlands with Jeffrey Herlings, Glenn Coldenhoff and Brian Bogers, Team Switzerland with Valentin Guillod, Jeremy Seewer and Arnaud Tonus, and that’s just to name a handful.

The MX2 World Champion, Jeffrey Herlings will be making his 450cc debut in the open class and will be facing off against the AMA Champion, Cooper Webb, who will also be on a 450cc.
As Italy is the hosting nation and their very own legend, the eight time FIM Motocross World Champion, Antonio Cairoli will be racing for Team Italy with Samuele Bernardini and Michele Cervellin; renowned television broadcaster Mediaset have set their very own studio here at Maggiora Park where they will be onsite and broadcasting all races LIVE from 13:00 until 17:10 on Italia 1, Sunday 25th September.
Because France is in for a huge weekend where they could make history by retaining the Chamberlain Cup, which will make it three years in a row for the French, L’EQUIPE 21 will be playing all three races LIVE!
Meanwhile, fans in the USA and Canada can watch on CBS Sports Network.
