The Golden Globes have found a new home. The 81st annual Golden Globe Awards will air on CBS in January (with a streaming option available on Paramount+ for cord-cutters), following years as a staple of NBC’s January programming lineup.

When are the Golden Globes nominations announced?
The 2024 Golden Globes nominations in film and television will be announced on Monday, December 11, 2023. Cedric The Entertainer and Wilmer Valderrama will present the nominees in two parts. First, at 8 a.m. ET/5 a.m. PT, Cedric the Entertainer and Valderrama will read nominees on an exclusive live stream at CBSNews.com/GoldenGlobes. Then, 10 categories will be revealed live beginning at 8:30 a.m. ET/5:30 a.m. PT on “CBS Mornings” on CBS.
What are the 2024 Golden Globe nominations?
As usual, the Golden Globes honor the best in film and television – including film categories like Best Film Drama, Best Film Comedy/Musical, and Best Non-English Language Film, and television categories like Best Drama, Best Comedy/Musical, and Best Limited Series/TV Movie. This year, however, the Golden Globes added a pair of new categories: Cinematic and Box Office Achievement and Best Stand-Up Comedian on Television.
“In an age when audiences are viewing content on their own schedules, we are delighted to bring the Golden Globes to viewers globally through CBS’ robust platforms,” said Golden Globes president Helen Hoehne in a statement. “Audiences will have the ability to enjoy our show live and on demand. When are the Golden Globes?
