We will continue on working the thumb part now:

R15: 4 sc, ch 2, count 4 sc starting the end of the previous row then join with a sc in the 4th stitch, 3 sc, sc in the previous ch 1 we made (11 – the ch 2 count as stitches)

R16: 11 sc (11)

Cut yarn and weave in the ends.

Join your yarn back to row 14, on the 1st free stitch available.

Round 15: 27 sc, ch 2 then sl st in the 1st sc of the round (29)

R16 to 20: 29 sc (29)

Now we will make the holes for the 4 remaining fingers.

The index:

R21: 4 sc, ch2, work on the other side of the glove: 5 sc (11)

R22 to 23: 11 sc (11)

Cut yarn and weave in end.

Middle finger and Ring finger (the 2 of them follow the same pattern as written below):

Start working the round on the last stitch you worked your 4th sc for the previous finger before.

R21: 4 sc, ch2, work on the other side of the glove: 4 sc (the 4th sc should be on the 1st stitch on this side of the glove, that you worked on for your previous finger), ch2, sl st in the 1st sc of the round. (12)

To cover the holes between each finger: turn your glove upside down, and join yarn with a sc on one side of the hole: 5 sc, ch 1 then turn: 5 sc FLO, cut yarn and sew this to the other side of the hole.

Now we will close the part under the thumb, which is still open.

Join yarn on one side, then make 12 sc. Make the same on the other side.

Cut yarn, then sew them together with a sewing needle. Don’t forget to sew the part just under the thumb, so no hole is left open.

Now we will finish the glove by making the bottom part.

Join yarn with a sc in the 1st stitch of the previous chain base.

Round 1: 25 sc, then add 3 more sc in the sewn part we just made (28)

R2: Crochet around the elastic fabric band for this round: (3 sc, sc inc) x 7 (35)

Cut yarn and weave in all ends.

The main part of the glove is done now.

Sew all the pads on each palm of the hands to form the paws.

The Bow: (make 2 of them)

Ch 7, starting the 2nd loop from the hook.

Row 1 to 25: 6 sc (6)

For the next parts, I will refer you back to the video tutorial to see how to sew the bow.

Sew the bows on the back side of the gloves and you will be finally done! This is how to crochet paw gloves, and even though it looks a bit difficult, it can be done in 1 or 2 day(s) only. So it’s quite a quick project to make.

How cute are these, seriously? And they are so warm, it will be perfect for this coming winter, to keep your hands warm and cozy.
