Where Did Troy Bridges Go

Troy Bridges can make your morning cup of beverage more refreshing with his weather forecast segment on the morning show. But before reaching a reputation of being a beloved meteorologist, Bridges paved his own way with dedication to his profession and proficiency.

Bridges started his career with WMAZ-TV, stationed in Macon, Georgia. He soon established himself as a weather expert.

He later moved to WRDW-TV in Augusta, Georgia, venturing into his role as a news anchor, along with reporting the weather.

After reigning over Georgia media, Bridges tapped into Oklahoma City and Little Rock, Arkansas. There, he showed that he was capable enough to cover the most challenging weather reports and climatic conditions, including tornado outbreaks, storms, hurricanes, and more, while being empathetic to the communities affected by the aftermath of the natural disasters.

He then joined WKMG under the CBS network and won the hearts of the viewers. Hence, the recent news came as a shock to the fans.

Troy Bridges has reportedly left WKMG. No statements are issued by CBS about the reason for his sudden departure. Also, the agency announced that Candace Campos will be taking over Bridges’s slot on the morning show. Some reports suggest that the network has removed Troy Bridges’s profile from the website, including the promotional content for his segment.

Troy Bridges secured a degree in broadcasting meteorology from the University of Georgia.

He then entered into field reporting and climbed his way to being one of the most decorated meteorologists.

The viewers were bewildered by the abrupt end to Troy Bridges’s segment on the WKMG. Although, the weather reporter does not seem to have any health scare as of now.

Why Did the Meteorologist Leave WKMG?

Troy Bridges would explain complex weather conditions and forecasts in colloquial terms that enable people to understand better.

People would tune in to his morning segments for his extensive reports and latest updates. Bridges would cover extreme weather conditions, including tornadoes, hurricanes, and storms, and present the science behind the occurrences in depth.

Bridges’s departure from the WKMG raised several speculations, such as legal issues, health, scandals, and much more.

However, there are no confirmed reports to validate these claims, and CBS has issued no statement on Troy leaving the show.
