How to Get All Elden Ring Prayerbooks & What They Do
Prayerbooks are tomes you can give to learned clerics in the game. After providing a cleric with this book, they will teach you (sell) new Incantations.
In Elden Ring, you can give Prayerbooks to the following cleric NPCs:
- Brother Corhyn – NPC located at the Roundtable Hold
- Miriel, Pastor of Vows – Located at the Church of Vows in Liurnia of the Lakes; if you want to get to this location quickly, you can skip Stormveil Castle

Ancient Dragon Prayerbook – Location, Map, & Incantations

Located in the hall after the Crumbling Beast Grave Depths Farum Azula Site of Grace in Crumbling Farum Azula.
Incantations you can learn from this Prayerbook in Elden Ring:
- Ancient Dragons’ Lightning Spear – Stabs with a red lightning spear. Purchasable for 8500 runes.
- FP Cost – 30
- Requirements – 32 FAI
- Ancient Dragons’ Lightning Strike – Summons red lightning that spread from the impact zone. Purchasable for 10000 runes.

Assasin’s Prayerbook – Location, Map, & Incantations
This Prayerbook is located behind the second fog wall Imp Statue in the Roundtable Hold lower levels. To access this area, you will require three Stonesword Keys.
These are the Incantations you can learn from the Assasin’s Prayerbook in Elden Ring:
- Assasin’s Approach – Silencens footsteps, reduces fall damage, and silences fall sound. Purchasable for 2000 runes.

- Requirements – 10 FAI
- Darkness – Creates an area of darkness that blocks the enemies’ view of the player. Purchasable for 3500 runes.

Dragon Cult Prayerbook – Location, Map, & Incantations
You can loot the Dragon Cult Prayerbook from a knight patrolling the area close to the Artist’s Shack in Liurnia of the Lakes. This is one of the easiest books to obtain in the game.
The Dragon Cult Prayerbook contains the following Incantations:
- Lightning Spear – Launches a lightning spear. Purchasable for 6000 runes.
- FP Cost – 18
- Requirements – 17 FAI
- Honed Bolt – Strikes with a lightning bolt from above. Purchasable for 7000 runes.
- FP Cost – 12
- Requirements – 24 FAI
- Electrify Armament – Enchants weapon with lightning damage for 90 seconds. Purchasable for 4000 runes.
- FP Cost – 27
- Requirements – 15 FAI
Firemonk’s Prayerbook – Location, Map, & Incantations
The Firemonk’s Prayerbook is located in a camp south of the Scenic Isle Site of Grace in Liurnia of the Lakes.
This Prayerbook contains the following Incantations in Elden Ring:
- O, Flame! – Spars a roaring flame from hand. Purchasable for 6000 runes.
- FP Cost – 16
- Requirements – 16 FAI
- Surge, O Flame! – Incinerates the area with a stream of fire. Purchasable for 5500 runes.
- FP Cost – 1 per second
- Requirements – 9 FAI
Giant’s Prayerbook – Location, Map, & Incantations
Located in a chest at the top of the Guardian’s Garrison in Mountaintops of the Giants. This Garrison is situated southwest of the Whiteridge Road Site of Grace.

The Giant’s Prayerbook includes the following Incantations:
- Giantsflame Take Thee – Hurls a massive ball of fire. Purchasable for 13000 runes. If you are a fan of this Incantation, here is a PvP Faith build that makes Giantsflame Take Thee OP!

- Requirements – 30 FAI
- Flame, Fall Upon Them – Hurls several balls of fire at once. Purchasable for 10000 runes.

Godskin Prayerbook – Location, Map, & Incantations
This Prayerbook is locked behind a fog wall in Stormveil Castle. You will need a Stonesword Key to dispel the fog wall.
To get to this fog wall, follow these steps:
- Fast travel to the Rampart Tower Site of Grace in Stormveil Castle
- Exit through the door and jump to the rooftop that is to the right side of the summoning pool
- From this rooftop, drop to the area below to the left
- Drop once again to the left and immediately go through the doorway to the right
- Go downstairs; you should be in a room filled with rats and the fog wall
- After opening this fog wall, the Godsking Prayerbook will be inside one of the chests in the newly discovered room
You can obtain the following Incantations through the Godskin Prayerbook in Elden Ring:
- Black Flame – Throws a ball of black fire. Purchasable for 7500 runes. This Incantation has its dedicated build! Here is how you can put together the Black Flame Mage build on Elden Ring.

- Requirements – 20 FAI
- Black Flame Blade – Enchants the right-hand weapon with black flame. Purchasable for 6000 runes.

Two Fingers Prayerbook – Location, Map, & Incantations
Located near a fireplace in the Fortified Manor in Leyndell, Royal Capital.
These are the Incantations you can unlock by getting the Two Fingers Prayerbook:
- Lord’s Heal – Massively heals HP for user and allies. Purchasable for 8000 runes.
- FP Cost – 55
- Requirements – 20 FAI
- Lord’s Aid – Alleviates poison, blood loss, and sleep for user and allies. Purchasable for 2500 runes.
- FP Cost – 12
- Requirements – 12 FAI
Golden Order Principia – Location, Map, & Incantations
You can obtain this book by looting it from a chair hanging from the ceiling above the Erdtree Sanctuary Site of Grace in Leyndell, Royal Capital.
Acquiring the Golden Order Principia allows you to learn the following Incantations:
- Radagon’s Rings of Light – Creates golden rings of light to attack a wide area. Purchasable for 7500 runes.
- FP Cost – 25
- Requirements – 31 FAI, 31 INT
- Law of Regression – Heals all ailments and dispels special effects. Purchasable for 10000 runes.
- FP Cost – 55
- Requirements – 37 INT
