We pay in advance by UK to UK / IBAN EU bank transfers or PayPal in advance (if you want payment by bank transfer to avoid PayPal’s fees, you will need to send us a scan of your photo ID). You will need to pack the item but we will pay you extra for any packing material costs incurred.
Once you have packed, if you are in the UK, we will even arrange collection or you can drop the item off at your local post office. If you are outside the UK, we would ask you to get a shipping / postage price to us, and then we would pay you this money so that you can send it to us.

1) It is unlikely we would be interested in buying items from outside the UK due to the processes involved (unless you are liable for the shipping and any import charges / taxes of course). Though 200+ year old English, Scottish and Islamic swords we might!
2) We never ever buy reproductions, tourist pieces, masonic, decorative items, civilian training, civilian combat, modern Japanese type swords, or fantasy swords.
3) *We DO buy Japanese edged weapons and Nazi items from people BUT we now NEVER buy from self-professed Nihonto and / or Nazi German dagger / sword collectors due to past experiences. We recommend Nihonto / Nazi German Dagger / Sword collectors wishing to sell items go to specialist dealers and / or auctioneers (sorry, we can not recommend any).
Trade-InsWe are sorry, but we do not offer / accept trade-ins. If you have a sword you want to use to fund he purchase of one of our swords, you need to sell it to us before or after you buy anything from us; it must be a separate process.
