Those who missed Matchbox 20’s sold-out show at Carr Performing Arts Centre in February will get another chance to catch the home-grown band when it plays the Orlando Arena at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 4. Since debuting in 1996 with the album Yourself or Someone Like You , the band has turned out such hits as “3 A.M.,” “Long Day” and “Real World.” Sharing the bill will be Lilith Fair veteran Paula Cole, who was here back in May playing a headlining date of her own at the House of Blues. Cole, who had a big hit with “Where Have All the Cowboys Gone?,” has seen her “I Don’t Want to Wait” gain momentum over the past few months as the theme song for the teen soap Dawson’s Creek . Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday for $25.75.
