GH fans may know Chad Duell married Young and the Restless‘ Courtney Hope on October 23, 2021. Their ceremony was a glam-goth event with a “Till Death” theme. Ironically, the vows didn’t stick through the end of the year much less til death do them part.

Many soap stars attended the ceremony. There were castmates from General Hospital, Bold and the Beautiful, and Young and the Restless. If you didn’t know, Courtney plays Sally Spectra on Y&R after a character transplant from B&B. Of course, Chad Duell’s on-screen girlfriend Katelyn MacMullen was at the wedding too.
And Katelyn brought her then-boyfriend to Chad’s nuptials. But she hasn’t posted a photo with him since. Of interest is that her presumed ex landed a small guest spot as a bartender at Charlie’s Pub last year. So, is that romance over? If so, that means Katey and Chad are both single — and may already be mingling!
Katelyn MacMullen Cozy with Chad – on a Triple Date?
Recently, Chad Duell shared a photo of himself and Katelyn MacMullen out for brunch and Pickle Ball with their GH co-stars and friends. You can see the photo below. In the middle are Laura Wright, (Carly Corinthos), and her longtime boyfriend Wes Ramsey, (Peter August). But this wasn’t just an outing of work friends.

Also along with the General Hospital actors were Laura’s daughter, Lauren Wright, and her boyfriend. They are the two closest to the camera in the shot. Indeed, it looked like a triple date. You can see in the back of the six, there’s Chad Duell looking quite cozy with Katelyn.
While you can’t see if his arm’s around her, they’re tucked up close together. Since they’re out with two other couples, there’s a date vibe for certain. So, General Hospital fans wonder if they’re together in real life. The photo sparked questions from viewers, wondering if they are more than friends.
Indeed, it isn’t much of a stretch. Because Chad tends to date women he meets at work or in the soap acting field. GH viewers may recall that Chad married actress Taylor Novack back in 2012. But, they annulled the marriage after just a few months.
Also, Chad Duell was in a serious relationship with GH love interest, Kristen Alderson. Fans might recall Kris originated the role of Kiki Jerome who dated Michael Corinthos. Plus, she is also well-known for her role as Star Manning on One Life to Live that she played since childhood.
But, Chad ended the romance abruptly. So, it looks like a bit of a pattern with him. However, it is a little shocking, seeing as Chad just called it quits with Courtney after saying, “I do.” So, if Katelyn is Chad’s new lady, it’s recent, and fans seem to be on board.

Katelyn MacMullen and her on-screen boyfriend Chad Duell could very well be dating. Of course, Katelyn spends a lot of time with him, working closely together. It looks like the Willow Tait actress might have celebrated the New Year single. She posted a photo of herself with the family dog, not her boyfriend. Chad commented on the photo three weeks ago. So, if they are dating, this might be a brand-new thing.
