Which Strongholds Have Waypoints

In Diablo 4, players use the Waypoint for faster travel in the Sanctuary. Since the game is an open world, players can expect journeys to different locations. And to make it easier, you can locate and use the Waypoints across the map.

But before we pinpoint the exact location of the waypoints, let’s have a look at the number of them in the key regions of the Sanctuary.

Now, not all the Waypoints are unlocked; some of them need to be “unlocked.” More specifically, the Strongholds Waypoints need the players to complete a Stronghold, ring the bell, and then it’s converted into a Waypoint.

Waypoints in Dry Steppes

The Dry Steppes region lies to the northwest and is considerably huge. There are eight Waypoints and two Strongholds – The Onyx Watchtower and Farobru.

Waypoints in Scosglen

Scosglen lies to the north of the map and covers up a good chunk of the top. Much like Dry Steppes, Scosglen is a big region. In this area, there are eight Waypoints, two of which are Strongholds – Tur Dulra and Cobrach.

Waypoints in Fractured Peaks

Fractured Peaks is located towards the middle east of the map, right beside Dry Steppes. This region features seven Waypoints and a single Stronghold – Nostrava.

4. Nevesk
5. Kyovashad
6. Menestad
7. Margrave

Waypoints in Kehjistan

Located towards the southwest, Kehjistan is one of the corner locations on the map. The World Boss Avarice is often known to show up in Kehjistan. This region has six Waypoints and one Stronghold – the Altar of Ruin.

Waypoints in Hawezar

Located to the southeast, Hawezar lies adjacent to Kehjistan and just below the Fractured Peaks. Even though this region is quite large, it has only six Waypoints, which are quite far apart. Among the six portals, there’s one Stronghold – Vyeresz.
