There have been some major surprises during the Battle Rounds on season 22 of The Voice with Blake Shelton stealing one of the artists his wife Gwen Stefani wanted to save. Last night, the fun continued for the third night as the coaches paired their artists against each other in singing duets to see who would make it to the Knockout Rounds.

Each coach was paired with an advisor for the season for the Battles: Blake with Jimmie Allen, Gwen with Sean Paul, John Legend with Jazmine Sullivan, and Camila Cabello with Charlie Puth.

John said: “Morgan, I do believe you were a bit more confident, and your tone is really strong and powerful and beautiful.”

Battle Round 5: Daysia versus Julia Aslani from Team Gwen

Battle Round 6: The Marilynds and Parijita Bastola from Team Legend

Winner: Parijita Bastola
John said: “Parijita was beloved by all the coaches in the Blinds and she showed us why. She has such a lovely tone. It’s so mature, and open, and beautiful. She has such a magical presence, so I had to pick Parijita.”
Saved: The Marilynds
John said: “The Marilynds deserved to be saved. They have something special to offer this competition. They’re a very compelling group and I think their lane of country-pop is unique on my team. I think they’re going to do something really special as they go forward.”
The Voice airs Monday and Tuesday night at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
