There were some major surprises on ‘The Voice’ Battle Rounds night 3.

There have been some major surprises during the Battle Rounds on season 22 of The Voice with Blake Shelton stealing one of the artists his wife Gwen Stefani wanted to save. Last night, the fun continued for the third night as the coaches paired their artists against each other in singing duets to see who would make it to the Knockout Rounds.

Each coach was paired with an advisor for the season for the Battles: Blake with Jimmie Allen, Gwen with Sean Paul, John Legend with Jazmine Sullivan, and Camila Cabello with Charlie Puth.

Battle Round 1: Eric Who versus Sydney Kronmiller from Team Camila

Song: “Paparazzi” by Lady Gaga

Winner: Eric Who

Camila said, “I chose Eric because he is just too captivating. I am curious to see how he evolves and I just want to keep watching him.”

Battle Round 2: Brayden Lape versus Benny Weag from Team Blake

Song: “Pretty Heart by Parker McCollum

Winner: Brayden Lape

Blake said: “Brayden has just got all this potential and star quality about what he does and who he is. He’s just now starting to find his feet. As he gets comfortable in this situation, the sky is going to be the limit.”

Battle Round 3: Eva Ullman versus Ansley Burns from Team Blake

Song: “Wildest Dreams” – the Taylor Swift version

Winner: Eva Ullman

Blake said: “I was really surprised with Eva. She’s doing the right thing and she’s got a great voice. She’s ready for this and this is her moment.”

Battle Round 4: SOLsong versus Morgan Taylor from Team Legend

Song: “Die for You” by The Weeknd

Winner: Morgan Taylor

John said: “Morgan, I do believe you were a bit more confident, and your tone is really strong and powerful and beautiful.”

Battle Round 5: Daysia versus Julia Aslani from Team Gwen

Song: “Home”

Winner: Daysia

Gwen said: “Daysia, I am so amazed at how you’ve grown, and your spirit is incredible. Daysia has some growing to do. She’s a diamond in the rough.”

Battle Round 6: The Marilynds and Parijita Bastola from Team Legend

Song: “How Deep is Your Love” by the Bee Gees

Winner: Parijita Bastola

John said: “Parijita was beloved by all the coaches in the Blinds and she showed us why. She has such a lovely tone. It’s so mature, and open, and beautiful. She has such a magical presence, so I had to pick Parijita.”

Saved: The Marilynds

John said: “The Marilynds deserved to be saved. They have something special to offer this competition. They’re a very compelling group and I think their lane of country-pop is unique on my team. I think they’re going to do something really special as they go forward.”

The Voice airs Monday and Tuesday night at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
