Leslie Marshall is a radio journalist, political commentator and columnist who has been blazing trails since the beginning of her career. She was born in Boston Massachusetts on October 2nd in 1976. Her mother is of Christian faith while her father is Jewish. Information about his early education and high school is not readily available. For her college education, she attended Northeastern University, Boston, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Voice Communication. She also earned a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from Emerson College, also in Boston.

Leslie Marshall began her career as a broadcast journalist in her hometown of Boston, working as a reporter for a radio station. She then moved to Miami, Florida, where she worked in radio and television. She served in different capacities. as a traffic, weather and news reporter, as well as a disc jockey. While hosting a particularly outstanding episode of a midnight music show on the radio, Marshall caught the eye of a program director at a talk radio station in the same town who eventually called the show. As a result, she was hired by WNWS Miami where she began her career as a radio talk show host and held that position for about three years.
Marshall then had brief stints working at several radio stations, including WJNO in West Palm Beach, WTMJ in Milwaukee, and WWWE in Cleveland. She then worked at WGR in Buffalo, New York, and then at KPRC-TV in Houston, Texas. She recorded excellent ratings on WGR and KPRC, earning her the attention of major radio networks.
Leslie Marshall became nationally syndicated in 1992, replacing Tom Snyder on the Daynet/ABC satellite radio network. His program aired on over 200 stations across the United States and ran for up to three years. After the network disbanded in 1995, she moved to WLS-FM in Chicago, where she hosted the afternoon driving talk show. Her next job was at KGO radio in San Francisco, after which she was hired by KHTK/Hot Talk in Sacramento, where she anchored a midday show. Also in San Francisco, she anchored a TV show “Bay Talk” on KRON TV, an NBC affiliate channel.

Two years after his first stint with the station, Marshall was rehired by WLS-FM Chicago. Also in Chicago, she co-anchored a TV show “Beyond the Beltway” on WGR-TV. She eventually moved to Los Angeles after spending about two years in Chicago. She has hosted talk shows on different radio stations in Los Angeles including KFI, KLSX, KABC and KLAC. When KLAC changed the format from talk station to music station, Leslie Marshall then moved to WWKB in Buffalo, NY. There, she began hosting her own show “The Leslie Marshall Show,” which aired every weeknight. WWKB broadcasts in the Northeastern United States and Canada. However, the Marshall show became nationally syndicated a year after it aired.
In addition to successfully leading her own show on WWKB, Leslie Marshall is also a regular political contributor to Fox News shows such as The O’Reilly Factor and Your World with Neil Cavuto. She also contributes to Kudlow & Company on CNBC and Scarborough Country on MSNBC. The versatile political commentator also writes a column on ‘Huff Post’.

Leslie Marshall has been married since October 1996. Her husband is of the Muslim faith and he is an orthopedic surgeon by profession. The couple have 2 children together, a son and a daughter. They adopted their first child from Pakistan and welcomed their second child after 13 cycles of IVF.
