Yes there is a supreme archetype, The Supreme archetype is the true form of Yog-sothoth and azathoth, as in the book through the gates of the silver key it is revealed to Carter that the outer gods are merely illusion constructed by the lesser minds of those below the ultimate gate and their true form are timeless and view all in totality as facets of themselves while the Supreme archetype views all other archetypes as facets of itself and azathoth and yog-sothoth are the same being interpreted differently by lesser minds. Yog-sothoth represents the all-in-one aspect of the Supreme archetype while azathoth represents the Supreme archetype as the ruler of all.
