Energetically, Garshana dry brush massage is likely to help you feel lighter and more energized.

Ayurveda’s daily ritual of morning self-care is called Dinacharya. It’s a series of self-care routines that establish healthy habits, ultimately balancing the constitution by cleansing inside and out. Living a yogic lifestyle, I discovered the benefits that the practice of morning Garshana provides. Cultivating genuine health, massaging the skin with raw silk gloves wakes up the body and enlivens the nervous system to increase mental alertness.
The Garshana ritual encourages discharge of ama or cellular waste by stimulating movement through the various elimination channels. Dry brushing the body with raw silk improves overall metabolism, blood and lymphatic circulation and unclog pores to allow the skin to breathe. The uneven texture of raw silk provides a gentle, dry exfoliation to help your skin shed dull-looking cells without damaging skin to reveal your freshest, softest skin.
According to Ayurveda, the static electricity generated by the friction of rubbing the skin helps to alkalize the blood stimulates the lymph and just below the surface of the skin. Garshana massage helps the lymphatic system to do its job to clear toxins out of the body. By keeping the lymph and other vital tissues cleansed, the immune system is strengthened.
Our exceptional Garshana Gloves are made from silk noil that is nubby and soft. Raw silk consists of two types of silk proteins, sericin and fibroin. Sericin, along with 18 amino acids encourage anti-aging, anti-wrinkle moisture balance in the skin and is noted for improving skin elasticity. Our gloves are hypoallergenic and has naturally occurring mold and bacteria inhibitors.

Directions: Use these Garshana gloves for dry brushing every morning for 5 minutes before bathing or showering for healthy glowing skin. Massage the body with both gloved hands. Avoid delicate areas and anywhere the skin is broken or inflamed.
Recommendation: For added benefit Complete your Garshana with a shower. To enhance the release of toxins, end with a few cycles of hot then cold water. First turn the water to as hot as you can take it for several seconds, then to as cold as you can tolerate, then back to hot, and so on. This will stimulate the blood circulation and further invigorate the body’s metabolism to increase overall immunity.
Use Fleur CelluCleanse Body Oil after performing your Garshana massage on targeted areas where cellulite deposits are greatest.
After bathing follow with a light oil massage (abhyanga) with Fleur Rajeunir or Amore Body Oil to moisturize the skin while it is still damp.
For added immune benefit, apply Fleur Shuddhi Lymph Oil after bathing to stimulate congested lymph.
