All the Reputation (Taylor’s Version) clues and easter eggs
From her clothing choices, to hidden letters and messages, these are all of the hints related to reputation (TV).
Rep (TV) written in a 1989 Music Video

Swifties could really uncover just about anything. In the lyric video for You Are In Love from 1989 (TV), they spotted a miniscule clue for the next album.
Some eagle-eyed fans realised the letters to spell out REP (TV) were written in the sand – backwards, of course, for an extra layer of unhinged glory.
The Glitch
Glitching effects were employed by Taylor throughout the reputation world tour. And the same effect has been present in several of Taylor’s recent projects.
When she dropped Wildest Dreams (Taylor’s Version) from 1989, there was a glitch in the short accompanying video of Taylor standing in a blue dress.
At the end of the Eras Tour Concert Movie, the credits glitched. Currently seen on Spotify for some users, the icon for the rep album has been edited to look like it’s glitching. Is this hinting rep (tv) is next?

The Snake on the 1989 Album Cover
Now, perhaps this is just the way Miss Swift chose to write the “s” in “Taylor’s Version” for this album. But if you ask us, this looks a whole lot like a snake: the key mascot of reputation. Plus, the other “s” on the album cover looks regular.
Taylor herself once said: what if I told you, none of it was accidental? There’s no way this was a coincidence from our mastermind.
Black & Blue Outfits
Every Taylor Swift “era” has a colour. Speak Now is purple, Fearless is yellow/gold, Red is… well red, 1989 is blue, and reputation is black.
After she announced the release of 1989 (TV), Taylor was seen out wearing a number of black and blue outfits and accessories. Typically alternating between the two from day to day.
She also used alternating black and blue pens to write out her 1989 (TV) clues for fans. This led Swifties to speculate there could be a second album along with 1989. While some are convinced this means that a second release with featured artists is on the horizon, others believe it means rep (tv) is coming next.
Does this all sound like a stretch? Maybe. But it also sounds exactly like the kind of thing Taylor would do.

Reputation Era Clothes
Further to this, she’s been re-wearing some popular items from her rep era, including chunky black boots on an outing with Travis Kelce and a pair of knee-high snake boots for dinner with Blake Lively in January 2024.
She also channelled her rep era with her black, studded look at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards – the same awards show where Taylor had her infamous run-in with Kanye West, which spurred on years of conflict and eventually led to the release of reputation.
Why is Taylor Swift re-recording Reputation?
In case you need a quick recap, Taylor is re-recording her early music – six albums – in order to fully own and gain control of her masters. They were bought by Scooter Braun, from Scott Borchetta, in 2019.
Since that controversial move, her masters have changed hands, with investment firm Shamrock Capital.
To date, Taylor has released four “Taylor’s Version” albums. This leaves her debut album, titled Taylor Swift, and her iconic sixth album, reputation, still to be released.
As some fans have been putting it, all that’s left now for Taylor to reclaim is her name and her reputation. Chills.
There’s no word yet from Taylor on an official release date for rep (tv). And fair enough, the girl is taking a well earned five-minute break following a lengthy US leg of the Eras Tour, dropping the Eras Tour Concert Movie, and an entire album in 1989 (TV).
We’ll be sitting here patiently waiting until Taylor is ready… for it.
