Which Hotels In Vegas Don’t Have Casinos

Home | Travel | North America | United States | Nevada | Vegas | 10 Best Hotels in Las Vegas Without a Casino

There are lots of things to do in Las Vegas besides gambling, so if you’re like me and not much of a gambler, consider a hotel in Las Vegas without a casino.

I’ve written about where to stay in Las Vegas if you want to save money or be close to the Strip, and in this guide, I’ll share the best non-casino hotels in Las Vegas.

While the casinos are a major selling point for Sin City, some visitors prefer other activities. If you’re traveling with kids or planning a romantic couple’s getaway, a room near a loud, smoke-filled casino isn’t the most pleasant experience. Fortunately, there are hotels on the Las Vegas Strip without a casino, so you can still enjoy the excitement of this area without all the crowds and noise.

Sin City is a wonderland of fine dining, shopping, and entertainment experiences. You don’t have to play the slots or gamble your money away to have a good time here! Many of these non-casino hotels include interesting exhibits, relaxing spas and pools, and easy access to the area’s coolest museums and recreation spaces. So, if your vacation doesn’t involve poker or blackjack, you may want to book a room at one of these non-gaming resorts.

In summary, these are the 10 best non-gaming hotels in Las Vegas:

  1. Trump International Hotel & Tower
  2. Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas
  3. Vdara Hotel & Spa
  4. Alexis Park All Suite Resort
  5. Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas
  6. Signature at MGM Grand
  7. The Platinum Hotel and Spa
  8. Delano at Mandalay Bay
  9. Hilton Grand Vacations Suites
  10. Hilton Garden Inn Las Vegas- Strip South

1. Trump International Hotel & Tower, a top non-gaming hotel in Las Vegas

The first non-casino hotel in Las Vegas that I recommend is Trump International Hotel. It’s an all-suite non-gaming and non-smoking resort, and for all its luxuries, it’s quite affordable.

I suggest reserving one of the suites, which includes kitchenettes, lounge areas, marble bathrooms, and huge windows overlooking the Strip from above. The Trump International Hotel is one of the Las Vegas hotels with in-room jacuzzis, and guests have access to the “Attaché team,” which means you have butler and concierge service whenever you need it. You could even take advantage of the in-suite dining service!

Just because it’s a non-gambling hotel in Las Vegas, that doesn’t mean you’ll get bored here. Check out the 7th-floor pool deck and rent out one of the cabanas with a wet bar, TV, and poolside drinks. Work up a sweat at the gym or pamper yourself with a salon appointment or a visit to the Spa at Trump.

The hotel’s quiet and intimate atmosphere makes it a great choice for a romantic getaway. Plus, it’s close to fun couples things to do in Las Vegas, like gondola rides at The Venetian and the Erotic Heritage Museum.

The only downside is that besides the poolside lounge, there is only one place to eat. The DJT Restaurant & Bar is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and offers meals to-go. I don’t think you’ll have any issues though since you’ll be close to lots of restaurants on the Strip.

2. Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas, the best non-casino hotel in Las Vegas Strip

On the southern end of the Strip, you’ll find the Four Seasons Hotel, another top non-gaming hotel in Las Vegas. Not only does this resort have luxurious facilities, but it has the best of both worlds: secluded tranquility and a convenient location on the Boulevard.

As one of the few hotels on the Las Vegas Strip without a casino, the Four Seasons offers modern amenities to keep you happy throughout your stay. Enjoy in-room dining, a poolside bar, alfresco dining, and a full-service spa offering body care therapies, facials, and a fitness center. The hotel has an on-site pool, and guests also have access to the Mandalay Bay Beach and pool complex.

Even though it’s on the Strip, the Four Seasons has a very laid-back vibe. It’s peaceful and away from the crowds, but if you crave some more excitement, you’re steps away from some of the most popular attractions, including Mandalay Bay’s casino.

As for the rooms, they’re exceptionally large and provide sweeping views overlooking the Strip, the Las Vegas Valley, or the Nevada mountains. The contemporary guest suites feature marble bathrooms, sitting areas, and twice-daily room service. Larger specialty suites with bold statement furniture and private refrigerated bars are also available. The resort is also one of the few 5-star pet-friendly hotels in Las Vegas.

3. Vdara Hotel & Spa, one of the best hotels without a casino in Las Vegas

Vdara Hotel & Spa is another non-gambling hotel in Las Vegas with a nice, intimate atmosphere. All of the accommodations at this beautiful hotel are suites, so it’s the perfect place if you have sophisticated taste!

Vdara’s upscale accommodations resemble apartments, and you can choose from studio units, Stay Well Suites, pet-friendly rooms, and 1 or 2-bedroom luxury suites. Your spacious home away from home includes a kitchenette, dining area, touchscreen controls, a large bathroom with a deep soaking tub, and of course, stunning views. I highly recommend getting a room with views of the Vegas Strip so you can watch the Bellagio Fountains from the comfort of your suite.

As one of the best hotels in Las Vegas without a casino, you can expect your stay to be pleasant and rejuvenating. Be sure to check out the rooftop pool deck with semi-secluded plunge pools, daybeds, and a special hand-crafted menu. Inside the hotel, you’ll find fine and casual dining options as well as VICE VERSA Patio & Lounge, a boutique bar with specialty cocktails and small bites.

Vdara also has one of the best spas in Las Vegas and the friendliest staff, so you’ll have no regrets about staying here! The entire property is visually appealing, with sleek furniture, chic lighting, and modern conveniences. The attention to detail is incredible, as they’ve thought of everything, right down to the complimentary water bottles at all the poolside cabanas. Plus, it’s an easy walk to the Bellagio and Vdara’s sister property, ARIA Hotel.

4. Alexis Park All Suite Resort, another popular non-gambling hotel in Las Vegas

Just a stone’s throw away from the Strip is the Alexis Park All Suite Resort, an underrated non-gaming hotel in Las Vegas. Just a 20-minute walk from the Strip, this is a great lodging option for business travelers, digital nomads, or anyone making a quick stop in Vegas.

While unfussy, the Alexis Park Resort offers the basic amenities and services you want, all in a quiet and safe environment. The gym is free to use, and there are three outdoor pools for you to cool off in, all with poolside cabanas and towel service. If you forget any of the essentials, you can stop by the small on-site convenience store.

The hotel’s on-site restaurant, Alexis Gardens, serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the Pegasus Lounge is open for lunch, dinner, and late-night drinks. Moreover, the resort is close to the airport and Mohegan Sun Casino at Virgin Hotels, where you can gamble or watch a show.

All the suites are large, clean, and modern, with a mini-bar, microwave, refrigerator, and separate dining and sleeping areas. Guests also get Wi-Fi access and daily room service, and most of the suites have full-sized bathtubs. The windows overlook the landscaped courtyard and let in lots of natural light, but you’ll have blackout curtains to ensure a restful night’s sleep.

Another advantage of this non-casino hotel off the Las Vegas Strip is the free and easy parking. Dog-friendly rooms, lofts, and 2-bedroom suites are available, so consider the Alexis Park Resort for your next trip to Sin City.

5. Waldorf Astoria, a beautiful hotel without a casino in Las Vegas

One of the best non-casino hotels in Las Vegas is nestled among the Strip’s most famous landmarks. The Waldorf Astoria is an incredible luxury hotel in Las Vegas where you can feel relaxed and renewed while enjoying easy access to Vegas’ top attractions.

Guests stay at the Waldorf Astoria for its central location on the Boulevard, and they end up coming back again because of its amazing facilities, attentive staff, and impeccable suites.

A variety of rooms are available, but I think the panorama suite is spectacular, providing uninterrupted views of the Strip. The spacious suite includes a living room with a bar, walk-in closets, high-speed Internet, and remote-controlled air conditioning and lighting. Housekeeping will leave free toiletries and bath salts in the marble bathroom, so slip into a plush bathrobe and treat yourself to a soothing soak in the jacuzzi tub.

While you can watch the Eiffel Tower light show and the famous Bellagio Fountains from your room, you might also enjoy the view from the 8th-floor pool deck. The area includes two lap pools, whirlpool hot tubs, a plunge pool, and private cabanas with waiter service.

While staying at this non-casino hotel in Las Vegas, you won’t miss the noise and chaos of the gaming resorts. Instead, visit the two-story spa for a custom massage, facial, or one of the heat and water experiences. The facilities include a salon and a state-of-the-art gym with yoga classes.

Afterward, indulge in an elegant meal at the French restaurant or cocktails at the Sky Bar. If you’re traveling as a couple, consider the hotel’s in-room dining and celebration menu.

6. The Signature at MGM Grand, a popular hotel in Las Vegas Strip without a casino

If you want to ensure a great night’s sleep while staying on the Strip, check into The Signature at MGM Grand. This non-gaming Las Vegas hotel boasts a peaceful environment amidst the entertainment and excitement of the Strip.

The Signature Towers are a bit removed from the main MGM Grand Hotel, so it’s quieter and less crowded. Plus, the staff will give you the individualized service and attention that you deserve. Each tower has a separate outdoor pool, and as a guest at The Signature, you’ll get access to MGM’s Grand Pool Complex and the Wet Republic Ultra Pool.

The MGM Grand is just a short walk away, so you can join in on the excitement whenever you want. Go and see a show, hit one of the nightclubs, or book an appointment at the Grand Spa & Fitness Center.

Staying at The Signature is a triple win because you can get a great deal on accommodations, as well as the peace and quiet you want, and still be close to the action. Spend an afternoon at the spa, then head to Topgolf for an evening of live entertainment and sports games.

At the end of the day, you can return to your beautiful balcony room or suite. Most of the rooms include a modern kitchen, plush bedding, and huge private bathrooms with spa baths, glass-enclosed showers, and backlit vanity mirrors. Without a doubt, this is the best non-casino hotel in Las Vegas Strip, and it’s close to the Las Vegas airport.

7. The Platinum Hotel & Spa, an exciting non-casino hotel in Las Vegas

The Platinum Hotel & Spa is an intimate and chic Las Vegas hotel without a casino. Just off the Strip, the resort is a short walk from the Paris and Flamingo Hotels. So, while it’s close to the party scene, it’s nice and quiet, not to mention an affordable way to stay near the Strip.

The sparkling hotel feels very exclusive, but the environment is warm and friendly. Along with the elegant decor, guests can enjoy an indoor and outdoor pool, a modern gym, free Wi-Fi, a lovely on-site restaurant, and a bar/lounge. There is also a modest spa and salon offering body wraps, massages, facials, and manicures.

The Platinum is one of the top non-casino hotels in Las Vegas off the Strip because it appeals to all kinds of travelers – visitors on business, couples, or families with kids. You’ll get lots of quiet time here, and the property is 100% smoke-free.

Moreover, this Las Vegas hotel has balcony rooms in many of its suites. The walk-out terraces and wraparound balconies provide amazing city and mountain views and let lots of natural light into the room. All of the accommodations at Platinum are suites with full kitchens, separate dining and seating areas, and large bathrooms with oversized bathtubs and enclosed showers.

While the rooms could use a renovation, they’re clean, comfy, and spacious. Even the standard suites are larger than average; the smallest option is nearly 1,000ft²!

8. Delano at Mandalay Bay, a good non-casino hotel on the Las Vegas Strip for families

If it’s luxury you’re looking for, you must check out Delano at Mandalay Bay. This non-casino hotel on the Las Vegas Strip‘s south end has the convenience of location and the serenity of a non-gaming resort.

The boutique hotel encompasses an all-suite tower with dining and nightlife options, a beautiful spa, and one of the best pools in Vegas. The elegant Delano Beach Club has a retreat-like setting and is the perfect place to beat the heat in a breezy cabana or the sparkling pool.

Moreover, Delano’s Bathhouse Spa has a dozen treatment rooms, including a redwood sauna, eucalyptus steam room, cold plunge pool, whirlpool bath, and a gym. All the Delano suites feature living and sleeping areas, a stocked minibar, floor-to-ceiling windows, and marble countertops. Corner and multi-view rooms are available, too, granting you incredible views of the Strip, pool, or mountains. The private bathrooms have oversized soaking tubs, glass-enclosed showers, and twin backlit vanity mirrors.

You can choose from a nice selection of suites, from the standard accommodations to penthouses, as well as Stay Well Suites and dog-friendly rooms.

9. Hilton Grand Vacations Suites, an affordable non-casino hotel in Las Vegas

Hilton Grand Vacations Suites is an excellent non-casino hotel near Las Vegas Strip thanks to its location and comfortable amenities. It’s on the north end of the Strip, just a 10-minute walk to some of the most famous landmarks in Vegas.

Right away, you’ll feel at ease as you check in with the front desk concierge. They’ll help you arrange show tickets and reservations, as well as secure your car in the private parking garage. Safety is a top priority here, and the facilities are only accessible with a guest key card, including the elevators.

Speaking of the facilities, the beautiful 10-acre property has an immaculate outdoor pool with water fountains, whirlpools, and separate swimming areas. This outdoor area has plenty of patio seating with fire pits and access to the Waves Pool Bar & Grill.

Hilton Grand Vacations is also a great kid-friendly hotel in Las Vegas with tennis and basketball courts, a smoke and gambling-free environment, and easy access to the Adventuredome at Circus Circus. Adults can blow off some steam at the gym or the Eforea Spa, which has a steam room, massage therapists, and nail treatments.

Every room comes with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee and tea-making facilities, free Wi-Fi, and cable TV, and many include washers and dryers, which are ideal for long-term stays. The suites are clean and affordable, with large bathtubs and showers and no rowdy neighbors, so it’s an excellent non-gambling hotel in Las Vegas for families.
