How To Get Hulk Gloves In Fortnite

In an early preview for the Marvel’s Avengers beta, we had a pretty great time. But we also learned how to unlock some exclusive rewards. By “completing the beta” you can unlock a Heroic name plate for the full game and a new pickaxe in Fortnite — modeled after Hulk’s meaty mitts.

Here’s how to “complete the beta” in Marvel’s Avengers, and unlock the Hulk Smashers (with bonus Hulkbuster style!) in Fortnite.

Unlock the HARM room

To unlock the Hulk Smashers, you need to complete three challenges in the HARM Room on the new Avengers Helicarrier. To do that, you need to actually unlock the HARM Room.

Start up the beta and play the A-Day mission, the Hulk mission, the mission in the arctic, and finally the mission where Bruce Banner sends Kamala to the HARM Room. When you finish the beta’s fourth mission — and the world map opens up — you’ll unlock the HARM challenges on the mission map.

Once you have access to the map, activate it and navigate to the Helicarrier area. You’ll see one mission there: HARM Challenge 1. Select it, pick your Avenger, and dive in.

The Harm Challenges are basically just wave-based combat scenarios. You’re in a white room with the rest of your party, and you need to defeat increasingly difficult enemies for a set number of waves. The first mission is pretty easy, so just take out the enemies to move forward.

When you complete the first mission, you’ll unlock the second, and so on. You need to complete all three of these rooms to unlock your Hulk Smashers.

The third mission is easily the hardest, and if you’re having trouble on it you might want to complete some other Warzones to increase your gear level. Inside the Harm room, you need to play safe — you only have so many resurrections before you lose the challenge and have to start over. If you’re low on health, try staying back and attacking from a distance for a bit, or letting your abilities recharge. Make sure to keep an eye on your health and you shouldn’t have too much trouble.

When you finish the third challenge, you’ll get some purple loot for all four of your heroes and get two pop-ups about your new rewards.

For completing the challenges, you’ll earn a Heroic name plate for use in the full Marvel’s Avengers game and, of course, the Hulk Smashers in Fortnite.

For the name plate, all you need to do is log into the full game using the same account next month. Mission accomplished.

The Hulk Smashers are a bit more complex, assuming you haven’t already linked your Epic account. First you need to link your Epic Games account to your console account. Just log in to Epic Games, navigate to your account, connected accounts, and sign in on whatever platform you’re using. Next you need to link your Epic account with your Square Enix Members account.

Once you’ve linked both accounts together, log in to Fortnite and the Hulk Smashers should appear as one of your available pickaxes.
