There is a good chance that if you’ve found this page then you’re playing the Immaculate Grid.

That also means that today’s grid has asked for players that have played for both the Kansas City Chiefs and Minnesota Vikings.

And, it also means that you’re probably stuck on this particular box and you’re looking for a little help. Sound about right so far?

Well, good news, you’re in the right place.

I’ve done some research and have found players who played on both the Chiefs and Vikings.

Jared Allen

Jared Allen was a 5x Pro Bowl defensive end in the National Football League. Over the course of 12 seasons (2004-2015), he played for the Kansas City Chiefs, Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Bears, and Carolina Panthers.

Allen’s unique combination of size, speed, and agility made him one of the most dominant pass rushers of his era. He led the NFL in sacks in both 2007 and 2011. His 22 sacks in 2011, while playing for the Vikings, was just half a sack shy of the single-season record.

Allen earned five Pro Bowl selections and was named First-Team All-Pro four times during his career. He recorded a total of 136 career sacks, placing him in the top 10 all-time as of his retirement.

Cassel, a seventh-round draft pick, went on to have a Pro Bowl season with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2010, throwing for 3116 yards and 27 touchdowns.

Throughout his career, he played for various teams (7 in total) and was often brought in as a solid backup option. Cassel accumulated over 17,500 passing yards and 104 touchdowns in his career, showing durability and readiness when called upon.

Steve Bono

Steve Bono is probably best remembered for his time with the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs. However, Bono spent 15 years in the NFL playing for seven different teams: the Vikings, Steelers, 49ers, Chiefs, Packers, Rams, and Panthers.

After being selected in the sixth round of the 1985 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings, Bono had the opportunity to work with some of the best coaches and players in the league. For example, he joined the San Francisco 49ers in 1989, where he had the chance to learn from Hall of Fame QBs Joe Montana and Steve Young.

In 1995, Bono became the starting quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs. That year, he led the Chiefs to a 13-3 record and a first-place finish in the AFC West. His performance earned him a spot in the Pro Bowl.
