Notably, they performed for free on a Saturday morning this weekend. So either they got paid a lot to perform, or the platform was big enough from a promotional standpoint. As such, they couldn’t pass it up.
JMU also showed up for the performance, even though there was a mixed reaction from the fans. Many wondered why the brothers were there all of a sudden, while others were glad for the concert since their team wouldn’t be eligible for a bowl game due to an NCAA rule.
That’s not all.
The Jonas Brothers also had a few drinks with fans and collegegoers. On Friday night, they hit up Billy Jack’s Shack, one of the best bars in the city, and had a blast with the patrons with some beers.
They even paid a round for everyone there. Some reported that they were bartenders for a hot second and served everyone drinks. As a result, they made some more instant fans who found that the Brothers were pretty chill.
However, they also drew some criticism.

Some people alleged that the entire performance, plus hanging out with the fans at a bar and paying for their drinks, was just an attempt to get positive PR for Joe Jonas. After all, he is currently in the midst of a messy divorce from Sophie Turner.
The week 12 clash is between James Madison Dukes and the Appalachian State Mountaineers. The Dukes have made many focus their attention on them thanks to their unbeaten season record of 10-0.
However, they are still not eligible for a bowl game or the Sun Belt title because of a rule that prohibits them due to being in the first year of their 2-year transition period.
On the other hand, the Mountaineers have won three games one after the other, and they will be looking to continue that record.
Do you think that the Jonas Brothers can show up anywhere else for a quick college concert? What did you think of this surprise performance?
