I stumbled upon this book thanks to a friend’s recommendation, and I’m so glad I did. I decided to give it a listen as an audiobook during a road trip, and it was the perfect choice. From the very beginning, I was hooked and eagerly awaited the resolution. A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is a “bingeable” book that you won’t be able to put down. Although it is categorized as a Young Adult book, its mystery aspect makes it appealing to readers of any age. The main character is relatable, the plot is believable, and the twists and turns will keep you guessing until the very end.
A Captivating Production
If you’re considering reading this book, I highly recommend the audiobook format. The full cast narration, along with other production elements such as phone calls, emails, and interviews, adds an extra layer of immersion. It reminded me of the addictive podcast, Serial, so if you enjoyed that, this book is right up your alley.
A Well-Deserved Rating
I can confidently say that A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is one of my favorite reads this year. It reignited my love for YA thrillers, and I’m thrilled to discover that there are more books in this series, with a recently released addition. If you enjoy thrillers, this one is a must-read.
