Seeking the Cleric Novelist

Here’s where things get tricky. If you’ve already visited the Cleric Guild in Octopath Traveler 2 before receiving this quest, you may have been caught off guard, just like I was. The Cleric Novelist NPC, who holds crucial information, doesn’t wait conveniently in one of the towns with churches. No, they choose to reside in a remote church.

To find the Cleric Novelist, head to the Cleric Guild in Borderfall during the daytime. Let Osvald scrutinize the NPC, and you’ll obtain the valuable intel you seek – the “Adventures of an Apprentice Cleric’s Sequel” information.

Indulging in a New Delsta Crepe

Now that we have the sequel information, it’s time to move on to the next wish. Make your way to New Delsta, and ascend the stairs to the right. At the Crepe Maker, you can either purchase or steal the deluxe crepe. Acquire it and present it to the Apathetic Girl, fulfilling her desire.

Meeting Roland, the Floral Designer

The third and final wish is to meet Roland, the talented Floral Designer. You can find him in Timberain, specifically in the Town Square. To add Roland to your party, you’ll need someone who can guide, hire, or befriend him. In my case, I enlisted the help of Partitio, which cost me 19,200 leaves. Once you have Roland, bring him to the Apathetic Girl and fulfill her wish.

You can choose to give all three items to the Apathetic Girl at once or deliver them progressively as you acquire them. Once you’ve granted her final desires, you will be rewarded with 15,000 leaves, a Vest of Joy, and Revitalizing Jam as tokens of gratitude for completing “A Young Girl’s Wish” in Octopath Traveler 2.
