One of the main reasons Team Knight is off to such a good start on the Adidas Gauntlet circuit is because of the play from 2019 6’4 shooting guard, Niven Glover. Glover and his teammates have Team Knight at a 7-2 start after the first two live periods. Glover is giving his team 9.1 points per game. Niven is a great finisher at the rim and is always finding his open teammates. Many teams have taken notice of his great ability in transition and have tried to slow him down in that aspect of the game but have been failing to do so. He runs his lanes great which can allow him to really finish well at the rim.
“It is a god given ability that I was blessed to get this athleticism. When I am in transition, I just think to finish strong and either if it is a dunk or layup, I just want to finish hard and maybe draw contact.”

Glover is coming off a successful high school season, “My high school season went pretty well, we won states and we all really played well as a team. We finished really strong with the state title and a finishing record of 35-4 but the state title was the best thing that happened all season.”
He currently holds offers from Florida Gulf Coast, Kent State and Wofford. He is also receiving interest from Memphis and South Florida.
Florida Gulf Coast was the first college program to offer Glover, “They are recruiting me pretty hard and they like me. I love the program.”

Memphis recently got a new staff and they have been in contact with Glover, “New staff now that Penny is there. He came down to my school and visited it. My good friend and teammate, Antwann Jones just signed there and I am excited to see how he does there.”
South Florida is another school showing interest with Glover, “I took a visit and it is a pretty good school, I like it.”
Glover is in no rush to make a college decision and really wants to focus on getting more offers, “Right now I am just focusing on getting better and increasing my offer list and working on my ability to play basketball at the next level.”
