I am sure you have seen all the buzz about 3M Cardinal 200ct Nitrile gloves that have exploded on the scene over the last 30 days. Most recently Cranberry is getting in on the action with their Evolve 300ct Boxes. If your wondering what happened its not rocket science, economy of scale kicks in when you increase the quantity of gloves per box from 100ct to 200ct and now 300 ct. The buyer’s per 100ct of gloves cost is decreased saves money and some space provided they can ACTUALLY find boxes of GLOVES on the ground.
There are many stories I hear of Ghost warehouses, fake SGS reports, fake BCL etc..

The feedback I received from my last article n Mask is the same with the glove buyers they are beyond frustrated of sending out BCL’s and LOA’s and Cage Code letters with little to no success. Or they are just tired of hearing about the illusive 1B, 100B “Billion” or even 1T “Trillion” 3M lots of GLOVES that are floating around the brokersphere. I figured after writing my last three articles in regards to The Visualization of 3M Mask, The Imaginary Distributor and 3M Broker Jokers I felt it was about time we put some common sense and logic using visualization of logistics FOR CASES of GLOVES as well.
Let’s start with simple comparison between a case of 3M 1860’s Mask and 3M Cardinal 200ct gloves.
There are qty 10 Boxes of 200 CT Cardinal Nitrile gloves in a case (Shown below on the left). Compared to 10 boxes with qty of 20 3m 1860’s Mask which is equal to 120 Mask in a case ( Shown below on the right).
The representation shown below of 100M dollars is equivalent to 1 pallet of 3M Cases of Gloves which hold aprox 72 Cases of 3M Cardinal 200 CT Nitrile Gloves. As shown above each Case holds 10 Boxes of Gloves. That puts us aprox 720 boxes of 3M Cardinal gloves per Pallet shown.
Below is a example of TYPICAL 12 per row of 6 Stacked case of Gloves which is 72 Cases of gloves per Pallet.( This is standard full pallet not half pallet)
Now that we have a metric we can us 1 Pallet of 100M dollars of money is aprox same size as 1 pallet of 3M CARDINAL 200ct Nitrile Gloves lets do some math and break this down for you THE SAME as I did for the 3M Mask Visualization.
Below shows aprox $72M dollars divided by $100M = 740 Pallets and if each pallet were 3M Cardinal Glove Cases 740 x 720 (3M Boxes of Gloves per Pallet)

To put this in perspective, to have 500B Boxes of 3M Cardinal 200CT gloves it would require aprox 70 times what you see in the pic above. And if this were 1 Trillion boxes of gloves would aprox 140 times whats in the pic above.
When you hear Boxes of gloves on the ground in the large B and T lots sizes typically there is a small percentage of the LOT that is OTG the rest would be futures and or production contract . The logistics it would take to move any of these lots above 1B is huge undertaking.
Now that your mind is totally blown, we need to bring you back down to earth. If your in search of the 1B, 10BM 100B or even 1T LOT of 3M Cardinal Boxes of gloves you now have a reference to go back to. That said, you also have to look at the economics of these transactions as well.
The going rate for 1B up to 100B is between $11.50 +10% to as much as $22.00 or more for exit buyer for 200ct box of Cardinals. That said, 99.999999% of the people that are offering these lots are never going to close a deal. The good news is that like on
Dumber and Dumber so your saying there is a chance..
YES there is a chance but not likely. Although there are people that are closing deals in the Billion (B) LOT range and even the (T) LOT range. I was fortunate enough to speak a few people that have closed (B) and (T) LOT’s. Typically, there is only a small percentage of the los on the ground and the rest if futures.
If you are lucky enough “L.U.C.K. Laboring, Under, Correct, Knowledge and you’re working 16 to 18hr days in PPE then you may HAVE the LUCK on your side to close a (B) or (T) LOT. If that is the case, here is a few points you need to know. LAWYER UP..Make sure that you have a procurement team protects you regarding closing the deal.
CLOSING A WHALE: First you need to be DIRECT meaning your either working with Actual Title holder and/or buyer with the Cash in hand BLC ready to go or government CAGE -Code buyer. Provided you are working with the actual TITLE holder and not a Flipper or Arbitrage or layered deal( Meaning they are acting as buyer and seller). This basically means that you have relationship you can work with to ensure that you have COMMUNICATION, TRANSPARENCY, PROPER EXPECTATION MANAGEMENT. I believe there will be movies made about the 3M similar to the Big Short movie. Between Joker Brokers, greed, money laundering and all the attorneys and distributors that were involved in deceptive and shady practice is mind blowing to us.

In regards to trucking logistics, now lets say you do find a major LOT on the ground, what would it take to move this kind of product from point A to point B.
By the numbers You can load 26 Pallets on the back of a tractor trailer which holds a 40 ft container as shown above that is aprox 18,720. You would need 5,341 trucks for 100M glove order. If you need to pick up 1 Billion boxes of gloves you would need 53K trucks.
