How Much Are Gloves At Go Ape

shootingWhen: April 22-23, 2023 Where: Go Ape Treetop Adventure at South Run Park, Address: 7550 Reservation Dr, Springfield, VA 22153 (Park Entrance Fee: There is no entrance fee at South Run Park.)

Camping: Cabin John’s Robert C. McDonell Campground, 7701 Tuckerman Ln, Rockville, MD 20854

Time: Meet at the St. Francis parking lot at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 22, returning Great Falls Library afternoon on Sunday, April 23.

Scouts will enjoy hiking in cabin john trail, cooking and camping at Robert C. McDonell Campground on Saturday. The troop will do zipline and treetop adventure Sunday morning Go Ape! (Springfield, VA). Please eat breakfast and lunch at home before Saturday departure, and bring some cash for Sunday lunch purchase on the way home.

Because of the limit slots for go Ape! Treetop adventure, please submit your registration by the end of Friday April 21.

The Troop 55 basic package(transportation, camping and cooking): $40 ($20 for adult driving own car, so both adult and scout only pay $20 per person), Go Ape! Treetop adventure is $60 per person

Includes Saturday camping site, dinner on Saturday, breakfast on Sunday. Please bring a pair of gloves from home (or purchase at Go Ape!) for trooptop adventure

Treetop Adventure course will keep you challenged, present and living in the moment. So much more than just ziplines; it’s a 2-3-hour aerial journey through the forest canopy. Engage every sense in a fully immersive and visually stunning forest setting.

  • Your adventure starts with a safety brief where we get you fitted into a harness and our instructors will help you learn the ropes.
  • Each site starts with a rope ladder or stairs up into the trees. Connect up and get climbing!
  • You’ll navigate wobbly bridges, traverse tricky crossings and, if you dare, conquer our unique free drop Tarzan swings*.
  • Ride our epic ziplines back down to the forest floor. Repeat.
